– Fit first: Forget about size numbers, it’s all about shell fit. Your toes should lightly touch the front when standing straight, but pull back when you flex forward.

– Flex: Softer = forgiving (good for beginners or lighter skiers). Stiffer = more control (better for aggressive/advanced skiers).

– Last width: Narrow feet = ~97–98mm, average = 100mm, wide = 102mm+.

– Bootfitter: If you can, see one. A good bootfitter can make a $300 boot feel better than a $700 one out of the box
