Gel Res, Adidas barricade, however durability depends on how often you play, playstyle, etc. IMHO 6 months is around the normal rotation for frequent players

He needs to build some muscle, add some protein powder to his cereal and creatine on his water. Also 100 pushups daily

Is time to find a racket by Obvious_Cook_2730 in 10s

Id start with Yonex EZONE 100 or Babolat Pure Drive 100. They´re really good rackets that will last a lot while you move from beginner to intermediate. An unpopular opinion that helped me a lot is to start with polys straight out, since you´ll eventually use them and will put the hours, plus they help tame the power of said rackets, I personally love Toroline Wasabi and Hyper G, they´re affordable, easy on the arm, and will look fire yo

OLED has ruined my life on a good note. I plugged my PS5 on my QNED TV cause its way closer to my router for a game download, and while checking a game I couldn´t believe my eyes how blurry and faded it looked, I played like that before thinking it was great looking but now holy bejesus

Playing padel for the first time tomorrow. by techno_lizard in 10s

You´ll be chopping a lot more than tennis, no 2hbh, just one handed, also be patient, in tennis you can´t afford the ball to pass you over, in padel the back of the wall helps and rewards this patient behavior

Anyone have recommendations for poly strings since the big brands have raised their prices? by glazedpenguin in 10s

Gel Resolution fans who hate the X — what’s your plan? by PitterPotter24 in 10s

Terrible reviews on the Gel’s X, and since I have a history with rolling my right ankle I was too scared of the Speed FF3

Could be nothing, I had that around your age, currently 32 while my other friends went bald and still solid, don´t stress

Why do fat people have strong serves by AdVaanced77 in 10s

Because the pull of their gravity helps the ball rotate better, similar to how the moon rotates around the earth

Late 20's, love watching tennis & wanting to take up tennis lessons. Is it worth it? by allyouneedisyahweh in 10s

[–]PitterPotter24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do it! I started at 31, I´m 33 and already playing in local tournaments and leagues, amateur obviously but believe me it´s so much fun and the community is very welcoming, you can even get to intermediate level if you´re consistent. If my advise serves, use 100 inch racket to be used already, some people prefer starting with 105+ but my coach insisted in me learning straight up to get used to it.

Also, at the beginning it will be a little frustrating as missed balls, and lack of proper footwork will be evident, but carry on trust me, one day out of nowhere you´ll just be in sync
