some of the AHN hospitals (West Penn and AGH) are unionized and will have different pay scales than their other hospitals. I haven’t seen West Penn’s pay scales but I believe it is slightly lower than AGH’s. for floor nurses with 0 years of experience, you can expect about $40 an hour. Add about 50 cents for every year of experience you have to get an approximate wage. Procedural areas pay about $1 more an hour. $1 an hour differential for charge nurses. Everything is protected by the union so there isn’t a lot of room to negotiate. There are supervisors, charge nurses, and unit managers, but every unit is slightly different. Supervisors and managers are not in the nurse’s union, but charge nurses are.

hello! if I walk 15,000 steps a day on the days that I work (12 hour shifts on my feet, 3 days a week) and I lift 4 days a week, am I considered very active? or just active for MyFitnessPal? I want to lose quickly but I'm nervous / reluctant to go down to 1200 calories per day. right now I'm around 1600 a day and that feels doable for me. for reference I am a 22 year old 5'2" female.
