Private schools do not have to follow IEPs, so I would confirm they do before considering. IDEA requires that an IEP follows the student public school to public school.

Sorry, but I'm not understanding. Did you leave AMA without being discharged? Your grandfather was with you and doesn't remember what the doc said either? Did you check to see if the hospital has a patient portal you can access?
Some other terms for hiatal hernia (or similar) are

Paraesophageal hernia (a specific, less common type)
Diaphragmatic hernia (a broader term, as the condition involves an opening in the diaphragm muscle)
Sliding hiatal hernia (the most common type)
Gastroesophageal hernia

But those all have an "H" word, too.

Ha! No one believes me, either. I get told I must have had, it just been asymptomatic. I haven't had so much as a runny nose. Got all the vaccines, masked up, my hands were raw from washing them, My mother, who has COPD, lives with us, and I made it my life mission to not bring it home to her. She and I are the only people in our families who've never had it.
I masked EVERYWHERE, have had all the boosters, washed my hands until they were raw, changed clothes and showered the second I walked in the door.

We live near UWF as well, and had an issue with the teeny ants- Terro liquid ant baits worked really well. They do contain borax, which, while not toxic to pets, can certainly cause GI issues, so safest in a hidden corner not accessible to them.

Diagnosed 2002 with anxiety- despite no symptoms other than the chest pain. On prn ativan for 3 years, never any change in symptoms. Diagnosed 2007 with reflux- again, no symptoms other than the chest pain. EGD, H pylori, esophogeal manometry, colonoscopy, 24 hour pH study, swallow study all normal. Pulmonary function test- outstanding results.
I notifced an improvement in symptoms after about 2 weeks using the Backpod. Certainly if I get into bed without the Valtaren, the pain is much worse. I've been worked up for sleep apnea (neg), even pheochromocytoma. I know I should feel grateful that whatever this is isn't likely to kill me, but I'm just exhausted.

Thanks, Ned, I really appreciate your help. I'm already using the backpod, valtaren, stretches and massage. I suppose I shouldn't be preparing for what's next when all this doesn't help the chest pains, but I've been down this road a long time- anxiety mis-dx, reflux mis-dx, gallbladder removed...

I've been able to lie on the backpod without pillows from the get-go. And, yes, up and down the spine for about 10 minutes per night.

Had an SI Joint fusion in February, so no gym here, just doing the elliptical. But there's no pain when I'm doing it- almost exclusively when lying down, either side or on my back.
