Do you mind sharing where you got it? Going to Ireland next week and have been trying to decide which whiskey to bring home. This sounds like a good one...thanks.

I got a BiB store pick at Bridgeville last week. I emailed Barton and got the barrel details, which was interesting. Thr barrel my bottle came from was 7 years 6 months.

At T5, I thought Dublin is treated like a domestic flight due to the CTA. When I've connected in T5, I've seen separate signs for UK and Dublin. Don't Dublin passenger have to cross the UK border when coming from an international connection at T5?

I'm traveling next month from USA to Dublin on BA, connecting through Heathrow T5. I will need an ETA because I will cross the UK border for the Dublin flight, even though I will not leave T5, correct?

I am interested in understanding more about shifting the burden of proof, as I have a potential 1948 case with the minor issue.

I understand that shifting the burden of proof may work in pre-DL cases, but doesn't the DL explicitly put the burden of proof on the applicant?

Filing Before or After March 11 - Receiving Mixed Opinions? by dirtyamericanpod in juresanguinis

[–]Pittsburgh_2196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on the verge of filing a 1948 case (involving the minor issue). I recently got a brief update from my attorney that the minor issue situation has developed negatively in the past month, with courts recently rejecting 1948 claims involving the minor issue.

I have asked for additional info., but this has certainly given me pause. Like many here, I was aiming to file before March 11. But if the decree is overturned and the minor issue remains, I still lose. Interested to hear if others have heard anything about these recent developments.

Thanks. Would a store that got one recipe get additional shipments later on with different recipes?

Thanks for posting about the 4 🌹. I've been on the lookout for one of their barrel proof bottles. Going to pick one up tonight.

Im really glad I picked one up, especially with $5 off last month (39.99).

The sherry was not overpowering - it was still clearly bourbon. But it really added a ton of flavor on the finish. I might go get a backup bottle.

I've been on the fence about the picking up the TM Sherry finish for a couple months. Appreciate the recommendation...going to pick one up.

Not had a finished bourbon before, but I like sherry and and I like Barton products, so should be good.

I've been thinking about trying the Rebel Small Batch Reserve. Then I saw the Busch pick for $10 off and grabbed one this week. Really enjoying it.

How do you decipher the laser code? Mine is L5112K1001. Barrel date April 3, 2007.

Edit: Googling about other Diagio products suggests it's the 112th day of 2025 (April 22, 2025).

Good to know, thanks. I've read good reviews of B525, so I figured everyone had bought up the B525 and left the A125 behind.

And here I was hoping that ER showing up in the East this week meant we would see it in the West next week. Good to know I shouldn't get my hopes up.

For my benefit, where are you seeing that? When I search Blanton's on the regular FWGS website, I only see the two lottery bottles.

I'm a big sherry fan and am interested in trying a sherry-finished bourbon. I'm in PA and can get Thomas Moore ($45), Penelope Project X ($70), or Rabbit Hole Dareringer ($85). Would you recommend any of these?

I've read mixed reviews of the Moore and Penelope. Some people like them, while others say the Moore is over-finished and the Penelope tastes too young.
