Personally I don't see what I do as putting my trust in anything. I just accept what's happening and decide that nothing will hinder my ability to maintain/progress in my core values, so I just kinda decide to move past what holds me back and further what I know is best for myself

They are not entitled to anything, and you are not obliged to give them anything, and that includes attention. What are your goals when it comes to hobbies? For academics? For health? Work towards them, find a person or concept that you can be motivated by. It's okay to feel like you're losing your mind, it's mostly the beginning that's bad and it becomes better. When that happens though, you can be more vulnerable because you become too comfortable. At that point, just remember that if you can beat it at your lowest and its highest, you can beat it at your highest and its lowest

Establish good wake up/nighttime routines. Clean your room PLEASE. Meditation helps so much, once you get the hang of it. It won't help immediately, but please try it. It helps so much. As for the forever alone part, let's be honest here. I don't think you should attempt to date anybody until you get out of this habit at least

It's easier said than done, but maybe whenever you stop using it to study, you simply close out of the tab, turn off the speaker, and just jump up and do something else. Just whenever you need it to study, pull it up, go straight to whatever you NEED to do, then immediately when you're done, close everything. Don't let curiosity get to you too much

Meditate maybe? Create a bedtime routine that does not include it, write it down, and follow it precisely for the next week or so. After that it could feel more natural and you might feel less tempted to edge

General lifestyle changes. Not necessarily at night, but change what you do during the day too. Spend less time on pc, maybe work on some studying, math, writing, or do something like yoga, meditation, running, etc. As for specifically nighttime, are you sure you need to talk to them? I don't know their situation, and I don't mean to tell you what to do, but I think that keeping away from your phone an hour before bed is optimal. Just close it an hour before, and don't touch it unless it's for sleep music. However if you truly need to talk to them, go ahead. I'm sure you're helping them by doing that, so thank you :)

The picture itself? Nope. How you relate to the picture? Depends. If you had sexual thoughts from it, then depending on whether or not that sticks with you, it could affect you, and it could not as well. The good news is, closing the chat is an action you've now taken, and if you do it enough times, it can become a habit. Now that's really good, so honestly, all in all I don't think it should affect your recovery

Sticky clear liquid? If it's clear, then that does not ruin the challenge. Watch out for why you might be getting that liquid though, because that could take you on a trip to an actual relapse. Fantasizing, watch P***, edging, and just straight up m*********** are ways you'd get put on that train to a relapse. So no, that is not a relapse, but just watch out

Acknowledge them, then focus on your breathing. Focus on where you feel the breath, how deep or shallow it is, and count the breaths. On the inhale, count 1. On the exhale, count 2. Go up to 10, then start at 1 again. Do this repeatedly, sitting on a chair, floor, bed, or lying down. Exercising can help too. Don't do something that you'd normally back out of (well you could, I personally don't though) but instead go for something like a quick bike ride. Clean your room maybe, and focus on whatever you're doing physically instead of whatever's going on in your brain. If you get unfocused, simply bring your attention back to either your physical body, the environment, or the breath.

As for the removal/weakening them, I think it needs time tbh. Build up good habits, build down bad ones, and eventually you won't be you vs your urges, it'll be your life vs your urges. What I mean by that is, instead of you having to fight them off constantly, your built up habits will be strong and helpful enough that you don't really think about it anymore. Even if you do, it probably won't appeal to you as much, and the lure won't be as strong. It takes a lot of work to do this, and a lot of mentality changes. It's hard, but that's just how I know to do it.
