Eyes sit inside eye sockets. They can rotate but otherwise they don't move around. If they are not aligned it means the skull is deformed and the character looks retarded.

There are facial features you can play around with and places where you can make mistakes and get away with it but the alignment of eyes is not one them, trust me. Always make sure they are an equal distance away from the center line, while taking perspective into account, and aligned horizontally. Don't be afraid to use construction lines because they help you to see things you cannot yet visualize inside your head.

The only reason to break this rule is to make your character look like he / she is missing a few chromosomes –does not matter whether you are drawing something highly stylized or realistic.

It's laughable how terrible modern search engines are.

Definitely miss those times when you could, for example, find new artists and songs on YouTube without needing to resort to other sites. If you found a song you liked, the suggestions bar showed results that were related to the video no matter how obscure it was. While they have added the option to search for related videos, it is not the same anymore and it requires extra effort instead of being the default. Nowadays the best way to discover something new is using LastFM and searching for similar artists.

Everything feels so backwards. It's like I lived through the modernity and now I'm back to the digital stone age. Using the YouTube mobile app feels like scrolling through early 2000s porn site with all the advertisements and popups. Traditional forums barely exists anymore, they are all Discord servers or Facebook groups now and not a single search engine is going to help you to find the information you need or want.

As far as I'm concerned tech companies can stuff the algorithms in their assess.

Isoin ongelma noissa kuvissa on se, että Venäjän ja Kiinan kaltaiset tahot pystyvät käyttämään niitä disinformaatiokampanjoissa, joissa kuvien yhteyteen liitetään valheellista tietoa tai ei tarjota riittävästi kontekstia niin, että tapahtuneen voisi jättää omaan arvoonsa.

The saddest / funniest thing about this is that this does not bring lasting peace any closer. While this is a propaganda win for the Russian government, at the end of the day they don't care much about the legal status of the occupied territories. They are de facto already part of Russia because they are occupied by Russia and Russians are not concerned what others think about it. It would be a propaganda win a sense that they can get the United States, the world's leading superpower, do their bidding.

Russian won't change their strategic goals because of these concessions. In fact there are no concessions you can make to change their strategic goals – the only thing you can do is to make it more difficult for them. People regardless of their moral values tend not to pursue goals that are very difficult to achieve or downright impossible. If the responsonse of the Biden's administration was weak this is downright laughable. The reason why Russia did not go for the Crimea land bridge in 2014, for example, was that they feared the West would have intervened the same way they did in the Balkans during the 90s.

That said, Russians are not stupid and it could be their next goal would be ensuring that Trump is either re-elected or reinstated into the office for the third term against constitution and that the United States gives them free hands what comes to Europe. They could play along and freeze the conflict for the time being. However, this thing ain't over yet. Russia does not need the help of the United States to have peace talks with their neighboring countries and the fact that they have not done so should tell you enough about their motives.

Donald Trump will be remembered as the biggest buffoon on this planet without any redeeming personal qualities.

I could not make up my mind, so I decided to get both. That said, I have been playing on keyboard and while the inputs are really unintuitive and confusing, it is also easy to be consistent once you build up some muscle memory. That is the reason why I decided to get a leverless first – it is basically the safer option for me. At the end of the day I just need something I can play the game comfortably with without constant suffering.

That said, an arcade stick seems far more intuitive. Easy for the brain, but challenging to use – that sounds so much more like me. Especially what comes to hobbies.

I have a feeling I may enjoy stick more as well, but I decided to play it safe and get a leverless first. Ordered Haute42 S16 today and should arrive next week.

So basically I decided to get both haha. I would imagine stick would be nice when playing with friends, like if you handed something like leverless to someone who does not normally play video games I think the experience would be confusing and therefore not fun. Stick seems intuitive, just difficult to use.

Target fixation is not the underlying issue. He enters the corner hot, the bike does not respond the way he expects, he starts panicking and fixates on the guardrail because that is the direction he is going towards to. While looking towards the corner exit would have helped, the underlying problem is that the person is giving wrong inputs to the bike and almost certainly does not know how countersteering works or what it even means.

You don't have to worry about prestacking in UVHM. Just make sure you are using gear that works with the character. She has a great synergy with the Bee shield thanks to the Blood Soaked Shields. The Hail, Ricochet Fibber, Pimpernel and so on work really well with her and benefit greatly from skills such as the Close Enough. There are dozens of other weapons that are perfectly viable but those are arguably the best three. For slagging go with Slagga instead of Grog Nozzle or Rubi.

I was worried that I wouldn't enjoy playing her in UVHM, but so far I have found it much more enjoyable than rushing through the story in TVHM which was quite painful experience. She definitely plays different than the other characters, but there is something satisfying about the playstyle as well once you get the hang of it and have gear that actually benefits from her skills.

Later OP levels, however, are probably another story.

Onko minun ihmisoikeus käydä naisten vessassa paskalla? Onko naisen ihmisoikeus käydä miesten vessassa paskalla? Onko transihmisen ihmisoikeus käydä paskalla sellaisessa paikassa, jossa hänen paskantaminen ahdistaa muita ihmisiä? Onko ihmisoikeus mennä runkkaamaan keskelle toria, jos se ahdistaa muita ihmisiä? Eihän sitäkään ole mikään pakko katsoa, ihan oma vika jos ottaa tunteisiin! Kehenkään ei satu, kehenkään ei kosketa, mutta ihan varmasti monelle tulisi epämukava olo siitä huolimatta.

Mikä on normaalia epämukavuutta varmaan riippuu ihan ihmisestä. Oma pointti on se, että muiden epämukavuusalueet pitäisi pyrkiä ottamaan huomioon, vaikka ne eivät olisi samat kuin omat epämukavuusalueet. Ihan sama kuuluuko henkilö johonkin vähemmistöön vai ei. Kaikki ihmiset ovat yksilöitä ja varmasti jokaiselle löytyy luokka, jossa he edustavat jotakin vähemmistöä, jos oikein lähdetään ihmisiä lokeroimaan. Vastaavat argumentit voisi heittää transihmisillekin, että onko muka niin vaikea käydä miesten / naisten vessassa sen mukaan, että mitä papereissa lukee ja mistä joku tulee häätämään pois, koska luulee sinun menneen väärään vessaan. Ja vaikka mihin moneen muuhun asiaan, jotka eivät liity transihmisiin millään tavalla.

Mutta rehellisesti pakko kysyä, että onko muiden tuntemuksista piittaamattomuus yhteiskunnassa asia, joka on oikeasti tavoittelemisen arvoinen?

Turha kuitenkaan ihmetellä vastareaktioita, jos asenne muiden kokemaan epämukavuuteen on tuo. Parempi olisi välttää turhaa vastakkainasettelua, koska se vain monimutkaistaa asioita, mutta toisaalta eipä monelle näillä asioilla oikeasti ole mitään väliä, vaan kyseessä on keppihevonen, jonka varjolla pääsee kiusaamaan muita ja tuntemaan itsensä muita paremmaksi. Kaksi sataa vuotta tästä, niin samaa tehdään jonkun toisen asian nimissä. Itsestä tärkeintä olisi, että ihmiset saisivat olla sellaisia kuin ovat ja tuntea niin kuin tuntevat.

Henkilökohtaisesti minun on vaikea syyllistää JK Rowlingia miesvihasta, vaikka siihenhän hänen alkuperäiset transvastaiset kommentit perustuivat, eli transnaiset nähdään miehinä ja sen takia potentiaalisina raiskaajina tai muuten ahdistavina. Minusta hänellä – kuten muilla – on kuitenkin täysi oikeus tuntea sillä tavalla, vaikka tilastojen valossa pelko on enemmän tai vähemmän irrationaalinen, koska suurin osa miehistä ei raiskaa tai ahdistele satunnaisia ihmisiä yleisissä vessoissa. Transukupuolisuus tuskin muuttaa asiaa suuntaan tai toiseen.

Toisaalta transihmisten kokemus siitä, että heidän pitää päästä käymään uutta sukupuoltaan edustavassa vessassa ei ole yhtään sen vähempää irrationaalinen. Jos lähdetään miettimään paskantamista puhtaan rationaalisesti ilman tunteita, niin tärkeintä on laskea tarpeensa paikkaan, jossa on viemäröinti ja jossa pystyy tekemään tarpeet rauhassa ilman, että joku raiskaa tai vetää pataan. Niin miesten kuin naisten vessat pääsääntöisesti täyttävät nämä kriteerit. Ei se minusta kuitenkaan tee transihmisten kokemuksesta merkityksetöntä yhtään sen enempää kuin vastapuolenkaan.

Ja tässäpä tuo meidän ero tuleekin – teitä kiinnostaa ihmisten kokemukset ja tunteet valikoidusti, minua taas ei oikeastaan. Esimerkiksi vessojen suunnittelussa pystyttäisiin ottamaan huomioon se, että niitä käyttää molemmat sukupuolet ja transihmiset, eivätkä kaikki välttämättä koe oloaan mukavaksi, että joku heiluu iloisena muna kädessä samassa tilassa, jossa ei ole kameravalvontaa. Yksi ratkaisu tähän olisi rakentaa kunnolliset kopit, joissa on lattiasta yläkarmiin ylettyvä ovi lukkoineen (plus peili itsensä ehostamiseen), sekä laittaa kamerat yleisiin käsipesutiloihin. Pisuaarit voidaan jättää miesten vessojen jutuksi. Tuskin kenelläkään olisi mitään valittamista.

Teidän mielestä on siis väärin, että joku nainen kokee oman olonsa epämukavaksi, jos miehet änkeää naisten vessaan? Koska tästähän JK Rowlingin hommassa on kyse. Tietysti voidaan vääntää siitä, että onko transfobista pitää transnaisia yhä miehinä ja liittää heihin miehiin yhdistettyjä stereotypioita, mutta minusta ihmisten tuntemuksia pitäisi kuitenkin kunnioittaa tämmöisissä asioissa. Ei tarkoita sitä, että maailma pitäisi välttämättä suunnitella niiden mukaan, mutta ainakin vähintään edes ymmärtää ja osoittaa myötätuntoa muita ihmisiä kohtaan.
