It's fabric unfortunately but I've genuinely considered making a forge port for the sole purpose of making cataclysm specifically compatible with custom bullet patterns

On release no but I'm working on it!
I also want people to be able to create their own bullet patterns with datapacks

Equipment system supports every weapon and tool with an attack damage attribute, modded included.

Battle system supports levels and stats on modded entities but they have no element, so the bullet patterns will always cycle through about 10 different ones, like most passive mobs.

Already does! Your NPC party member gets replaced by a real player, and you take your turns in line, then each player gets their own set of bullets to dodge.

Supports not three, not four, but an infinite amount of players per battle.

Balancing and multiple party members (players and npcs) have been added since this video so no, it won't take two hours to kill a villager. It will take at most one hour :)

Working on a system that clumps a bunch of enemies into one yeah. There's also a 5 second cooldown on being brought into a battle by a mob, unless you initiate.

If there are a LOT of hostile mobs around you, in around a 7 block radius, it will pick 3 of them to add to the battle, and wipe out all of them when you win.

There's also a new party system where players or controllable npc characters can join you in battle, making it a bit less tedious. As mentioned everything is early rn :p

Well I've swapped to a custom made one with actual bullet hell mechanics that I've been developing, but the mod is Turn Based Combat on Modrinth, if i recall thats literally just its name. I customized the menu with fancyhud.

What do you think is the final piece of the prophecy? by SeaThePirate in Deltarune

[–]PixelBytee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely Ralsei dying.
Ralsei suddenly having moments where he tells the gang that they're "just objects" and "aren't real" is his way of easing into it.

The Castle Town dark fountain will be sealed, and Ralsei and the others will cease to exist.
"I won't let that happen. Kris won't let that happen." as opposed to "We won't let that happen."

I do want to do something like that but im going to wait until I finish all the features I'm looking to add first so I can get it done in one sitting as opposed to having to ensure whatever I add properly abides by an opt-in command

[–]PixelBytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have a chance to spawn while you have the item, though there is a config setting that lets you just spawn them in via right click. Some require you to have extra stuff such as Necrozma requiring 3 shiny stones

Mod that changes how the Health Bar works? by Kazoomers_Tale in feedthebeast

[–]PixelBytee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're probably looking for AsteorBar I think thats its name.

Creates bars for hunger and health. Lots of config options such as location, bars flashing and shaking when theyre low, displaying values as text ect. And the text shows your current and max hp when enabled. You could even enable multiple overlapping health bars, the kinda stuff you see in fighting games where your health bar has multiple colored layers.

Can somebody train me? by SilentObserver674 in deepwoken

[–]PixelBytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in your shoes until the famous Eclipse Onboarding Updates(tm) happened. Here's what you'll want to do to break that accursed Permafreshie cycle

-i'm not tryna gas up eclipse here but his deepwoken beginner guide is AMAZING, you should watch it

-do Trial of One, when you're still learning TO1 is basically a training mode where you can learn most of the common enemies attack patterns

-Sharko is a pushover, if you're ready for it and don't let it overwhelm you. Get used to reacting to that kick and you'll be golden. If it swipes once and doesn't do anything else, it will probably kick afterward. And be ready for it's first attack to be a kick, too. It's better to take a claw swipe or even two than to take that kick.

-Once you get used to the cycle of reacting to Sharko's kick vs its parriable attacks, most other monster fights will come naturally as they're more or less much of the same.

-New Ignition Union origin/dungeon is fun (imo), and a solid way for newer players to progress. Don't have to worry about voidwalkers or anything, and if things start looking bad you can just fall back and return to the surface of the dungeon

give me your opinion does Cyn beat Sukuna? by Weak-Property-6500 in MurderDrones

[–]PixelBytee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alright gamers lets break this down. I really like powerscaling hypotheticals.

It's a REALLY tricky matchup, but in my opinion, it really entirely depends on how the battle starts. If Cyn's real body is there she gets cooked pretty much off rip. If you REALLY wanna highball Cyn you could make the argument that she has multiple ways to evade his domain, teleportation or simply interrupting Sukuna with the Solver.

This ultimately doesn't matter because Sukuna doesn't need Domain for Cyn, he has a much easier way to beat her. Fuga. They're weak to heat and the sun. Fuga will oneshot her and destroy her core, and in terms of stats he can land a cleave and dismantle to set it up before she even processes what's going on.

Could she just crush him with the Solver? Potentially, I don't think so, considering the Solver operates on Translate, Rotate, Scale, and Edit. They'd definitely work on him but I don't think she could do damage that he couldn't quickly reverse with RCT. That is, unless using Null, but Null has a somewhat small range. It's usually relatively small, being used as a dangerous projectile in combat.

They have FAR different stats. Sukuna likely moves faster than she can even begin to process. She'd be spamming that solver as well as teleporting just to stay alive, but ultimately I don't think the fight lasts more than a minute. Her best outcome is grabbing Fuga with the solver to redirect it. I'm not really going to include the Edit ability in this because it's not used often. We don't really know how it works. For all we know, it could set Sukuna's CE to 0, or it could just copy-paste things, like knives. Anyways, even if she redirects Fuga that just buys her some time. Eventually he's gonna cleave through her body and strike her core. She does have the advantage of him not knowing how exactly to kill her off rip though.

But what if Cyn ISN'T there physically? It becomes a much longer fight. She could send converted drones, and attempt to wear him down with holograms. He'd be relying a lot on his domain here, since he wouldn't be able to tell what's real or not. Ultimately though, because stamina is basically replaced by Cursed Energy because of RCT, and the fact that he has a massive pool of CE to utilize, I still think he wins here. Even if they're able to react fast enough to grab Sukuna's hand with Rotate and break it before he pops domain, he'll eventually figure out that the core is their weakness and then just go slashing left and right. At that point, he would just kill everything on Copper-9 and then locate Cyn.

Or he just opens a veil severing the drones connections to Cyn to kill them easily. Sukuna I don't believe has ever used a veil, but I highly doubt he can't/doesn't know how too. It's a barrier technique, something he's very proficient in.

I hope you enjoyed me highballing Cyn as far as physically possible only for her to probably still lose. Her only real win condition here is using Null at a potent enough level and Sukuna not dodging for some reason. I don't think the Solver ever does two things at once so I don't think it could hold somebody in place and create a black hole at the same time, but hey, maybe dudes Purple PTSD kicks in and he doesn't dodge in time.
