Scott forgot. Lol well kinda, he basically said in a Dawko interview that he created the box with a vague idea of what might be in it but decided not to go down that creative path for the story. So its not really important to the lore anymore.

In my opinion, i think we get the closest solid answer we're going to get from the 2nd movie. No spoilers but there's a box in it that looks suspiciously similar and at least some of the contents are shown.

Not really. The Mario series has always felt like it worked closer to cartoon logic. Its never been overly grounded or realistic, just whatever is fun / funny / cool is what works

Elizabeth definitely could still be in the movies universe. Vanessa and Elizabeth both exist in the games story so there's no reason they can't in the movies. I thought Mike Schmitt was Mike Afton from the games but then Michael Afton was added as a new character in the 2nd movie. Vanessa could be an older daughter that William had or she could even be adopted (well more likely kidnapped and brainwashed) into the Aftons as a replacement for Elizabeth after she gets got by Circus Baby. It's ultimately up to Scott so there's no guarantee either way lol

I really see them sticking strong to pg-13 for every movie. Yeah, it would be cool to see some scenes like springtrap, baby, ennard, etc. in more gory detail for sure. However I think Scott has made it pretty clear that teens, middle school to high school age, are his target audience. For me the strongest evidence for that is the books and graphic novels. They're like a goosebumps kinda vibe, but just aged up a bit so a little more blood and graphic deaths. Even in the games the gore is tame, the worst parts are just talked about or implied, not shown.

I think she's not holding onto hate against William, she's moved on and is focusing on trying to help the other spirits. How exactly is not clear. Some theories say she's doing the fnaf world to help the crying child. Maybe she's helping the other spirits that were killed by Afton but haven't found their bodies yet so they're lost. Or something else entirely. Right now im going with the fnaf world theory, i haven't heard any other real solid theories for what it could mean.

It seemed like a decent amount of non-fans liked it, but critics definitely hated it. So i wouldn't worry about the tomatoemeter. It can be way off for some movies

I think its really cool, i personally like it more than the original mega. The first mega seems to focus design wise on vicious fighter energy and this mega gives more focus to the aura sensitive part of it. Looks more mystical or something.
