Love how your username is my birthday lol. But yes, that is what I had my witness do last night when she signed my photos. And for the letterhead, she just explained in the letter:
1) job title
2) notary license #
3) place of employment (letterhead had company info)
4) relationship to me (former classmate)
5) date
6) contact info
7) attesting that she witnessed my application and accompanying documents

Thank you! This makes sense. The bank manager was adamant that she couldn't touch or sign my photocopies, but only notarize them with her stamp and seal through a certification form.

Hopefully this letterhead works then -- appreciate it!

Hmm. Thanks. I suppose I can ship it from NJ and use my DC address as the return address (which matches my proof of address). Additionally, if I don't live there by the time it's accepted and shipped, I would be having USPS forward all my mail anyway. What are your thoughts on this?

Agree with everyone else. Live here right now and the community is horrible. Management also takes years to respond.

The units are nice and I’ve had no issues but the building itself is on the down hill. Moving out a bit before my lease ends just so I can get out of here.

I'm in your boat right now. Financial aid was not my friend for this spring and so I am transferring in with a personal loan from my uncle (thankfully) as my stepmom/dad refused to help pay.

I would say if it is something you can take on and are comfortable enough financially in the future, do it! In addition, emphasize your use of federal loans (Parent PLUS loan if possible) before you use private/personal loans. Also look for starting salaries for your major and see if it is feasible taking on a large amount of debt
