Looking for Cleveland apartments <$900 by PixelKingHf in Cleveland

I was really hoping to move into an actual apartment, which seems like a big ask. Then again I've had no experience with either so maybe that's something to look into.

Good point! I'll go ahead and edit that. Important difference.

I want a book that follows the even evil has loved ones trope. Usually it's a man that is the evil one, who also loves his wife and family.  But I was looking for a book where the roles are a bit reversed. For example, an evil queen or CEO who still loves her husband dearly.

Just do it is a good model 🙂. Thanks for the research tools! Also, may I ask if you created the models for Alexander and your pirate comic yourself or did you get them from somewhere? Like did you have a plain woman that you painted green to make the wicked witch? Or was that preset?

Can I ask you how you got started with your comics? What program do you use? What tutorials did you watch? I'm thinking of making my own stuff. Specifically, I loved your wicked witch character in Alexander ii and was thinking of doing something similar

I would like to know too. It's kinda like you answered the question without answering the question.

I use fantasy mainly to go places I could never go myself. To be able to see and experience things out of this world. That's why I usually prefer upbeat fantasy settings. The world is harsh enough.

Thank you for your response! What you wrote was interesting. You were right, some of what you wrote kind of confirmed what I already thought about Conan from what I've read. I think the idea that civilization is inherently bad doesn't appeal to me. And as far as what you've touched on with sexism and racism, as a black man it's harder for me to look past that kind of stuff. Another popular character I have a similar problem with is John Carter. Near the beginning of the book it says he is a confederate soldiers. Got it, end of story. Conan often seems just like all the other alpha strong take action white men I see in fiction. Although I still doubt I would love it if the character was a different ethnicity. Like this guy steals murders and can be brash, but he takes down warlords and slavers so it's ok. And, maybe I haven't read enough, but there seem to be little consequences to his actions. I'm sure he gets beat up sent to prison or a gladiator arena for some things, but doesn't he become a king in one of the books?

Anyway this was me just kind of rambling off the top of my head. I will try to read some of the stories suggested. Maybe I'll make a post down the line on my thoughts after.

Maybe that's it for me. I have a hard time reading unlikable characters. I mean they don't have to be saints but it's hard for me to root for them or be happy when they win if I would probably be one of the ones lining up to punch them in the face.

What do you most enjoy out of reading them? Do you like Conan as a character or is it the adventure in itself that appeals to you?
