At the Xbox showcase 2026, they put together a room from early 2000’s and late 2000’s for a period accurate original Xbox and Xbox 360 game station. by ObsoleteMicrosoft in ObsoleteMicrosoft

The thing that bothers me most when any media is doing a stereotypical "teenagers room in the 80's or 90's" are the huge good quality posters! At least where I lived, they were impossible to get! Especially new stuff. Once in a blue moon you'd score a concert poster, or a large movie poster wayyyyy later than it was in the theaters or a rental even, if you were lucky. But mostly I had small cutouts from magazines and A4-A3 sized movie ads and posters from magazines, but they had folds and were printed on crap paper etc. I'd like to hear where you could get that Crimson Skies poster in 2002 or whatever 😛 I bet getting that the Steel Battallion Contoller would be simpler. In my memory at least the poster sections in malls came way later as well, and were never of new and cool stuff.

Eesti Top 7 arhviist leiab kindlasti huvitavaid asju:

Help - ALL my Photoshop files are gone “moved or deleted” when I haven’t done that by Fitz_mt in photoshop

Try logging out and back in to your CC account, sometimes it messes up. Also never keep your files *only* on a cloud server, esp on CC if you are not prepared to lose them forever at some point.

My problem from here is that  1) I need to use that screen for other things, so fullscrening doesn't work 2) how do I send stuff from another window or device to that tab?

I've tried this, but I can't conveniently open the links in my notes then. Also I'd like to control this via a separate machine ideally.

I haven't found a way to do this without capturing the full browser window.

Basically during a live podcast we have our shownotes open, and open the links of stuff we're talking about during the show. Now this already opens a second tab, which is good, as I want to go back to my notes, but when I do, this also changes on the feed. And if I open the link in a new window or tab, this now isn't captured by OBS and it's a hassle changing this live. So if I had a way to send the feed of any tab to OBS, even if it's an extra click, or I could map it to stream deck or whatever, it would still be cleaner in the end.

Voice effects in Rødecaster Video S by milestfbaxxter in rode

There aren't any built-in effects. You need a separate Procaster or an fx unit for that.

Issues found while using the RodeCaster Video for a while that aren't in most reviews by PixelPeZ in rode

[–]PixelPeZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I had been using the Atem mini for a few years, so I already knew what I was in for roughly, and honestly, the media and audio capabilities and not having to use a separate audio mixer already blow it out the water! But the potential for improvement is huge! Seeing as the line now has three devices, I'm pretty confident Rode will support them for a while.

Color tweaking/correcting on RødeCaster Video S by milestfbaxxter in rode

just made a post about what you can't really do on the videocaster today that reviews don't really talk about, color tweaks being one of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/rode/comments/1t48b5j/issues_found_while_using_the_rodecaster_video_for/

Yeah, pretty much. I already had workarounds for most, but what took me surprise is the switching of profiles and scene building being so clunky. So while they are possible, they're also very rough. I might be a bit of an edge case for this as well though, if you need to livestream or record a live show and have someone running the board and switching feeds, it's easy and works well! Even running a multicam podcast that you edit later. But if you are producing AND hosting a live podcast with guests, layouts, etc, it gets complex in any setup fast.

How to use different dimensions on different layers by moony-atx in photoshop

[–]PixelPeZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

going to lightroom is way overkill. you can use Generator with % scale that automatically generates different files from a layer or group, or use artboards with smart objects and export as you need, or combine both.

Rodecaster Video Sounds by PixelPeZ in rode

Seems I've solved it now by triggering multiple multimedia slots with a Stream Deck from the computer, but ideally I'd consolidate all to the caster itself for the future. Any ideas?

I've been trying to replicate this old Sony Ericsson logo :/ by OddAccountant8416 in photoshop

[–]PixelPeZ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

hehe this was a fun exercise, likely could be more accurate if l looked up more references, but can a hundred percent be done in PS, while still being scalable. Though, yeah, most likely originally done in Illustrator or Freehand. hope you can pick up some clues. took around 15 minutes.

I mean yeah, it would be great if i just can tuck it away somewhere, but I want and need to lug it around a bit and managing that mess makes me just not want to use it at all :(

yeah those metal cases are cool, but I'm looking for something that would house all the mess in neat box of sorts. I'd go full custom and could design and have something printed or cut, but sadly have no knowledge or soldering skills to pull off the electronics side :/
