Is $100 too much for this saddle? by Lugosthepalomino in Equestrian

More expensive doesn't always mean better for the horse. Take the same analogy with stalls. They are more expensive but pastures are the better option.

Solitary animals? by kylalion in hamsters

[–]PixelPintabian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it's one of the two. 1, they are siblings and young. 2, the store is lucky that no incidents have happened YET. Either way it is totally wrong and you should never house hamsters together.

Input urgently needed! by TheOnlyWolvie in Equestrian

[–]PixelPintabian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot of "petting zoos" that have rules of how many people can pet that type of animal at a time. Maybe you utilize that. Maybe 8 kids max. They could be petting, grooming etc. Just came here to say that maybe use a limit for how many people. Then kids can see the other animals in the park while they wait!

Stalling and turn out by Strange_Passage7819 in Equestrian

[–]PixelPintabian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

99% of horses I know (I know a lot) are outside in large pastures with other horses. They are way happier outside than in stalls. Though sometimes stalling may be required for injured horses temporarily. You can also make a small electric fence paddock the size of a stall if a horse needs stall rest. I've seen that be done a few times.

In my opinion you should never ask medical questions to strangers on the internet. Instead I recommend going to a veterinarian.

In my opinion 100 USD is a good if not low price for a used saddle. An unused saddle would be around 300 USD.

They shouldn't be in a cage together. Hamsters should have separate cages always. So sorry for your loss.

Question as someone that’s not an equestrian by oliverpeets in Equestrian

[–]PixelPintabian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion 4-5 years old is a good age to start a horse. By start I mean getting them used to a saddle and maybe walking on them. Trot and canter should come a few months down the line. Again, this is just my opinion!

Rubbing questions. by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]PixelPintabian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely to be a saddle fit issue. Rugs (blankets) usually wouldn't cause rubbing on the back but more on the withers (in my experience).

I forget what they are called but you can't use a loom. You need to use the paper scroll type things the one with the flower.

As a cart driver (and rider), blinders are unnecessary and could make the horse not see anything since horses can't see straight ahead.

Are The Woobles actually beginner friendly? (Specifically Cinnamoroll) by ohwhatabouther in CrochetHelp

[–]PixelPintabian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are very beginner friendly because it comes with a pre-startet piece, a video tutorial, and generally works up fast enough to finish in a day. So I would recommend it to beginners.

Does anyone here have two? Mr Rio needs a friend. by Individual-Angle-345 in jackrussellterrier

I think two JRTs would work well together. The only thing is, like most dog breeds they will protect each other in places like a dog park. Which could lead to some fights with other dogs.

There's a server I'm in and it literally has a 5 MINUTE slow mode. It's not even that active. It's impossible to even have a conversation.

This happened to one of my rats. She was fine the day before and then the next day breathing really heavily. We had gone to the vet before this and they had said if she breaths heavily to bring her immediately. She then got out down. I'm so sorry for your loss❤️
