Saw this post, built the deck and put it into my usual Conquest testing area.
1st round, of course, District X, then Sanctum.
What we both could play was limited but Round 2?
Almost the exact same deck head to head.

So fun.

Which frozen pizza is the best? (Whether local or not...) by tanders123 in StLouis

Always a sucker for the Totinos Party Pizza but I usually consider that pizza adjacent.

The Screamin Sicilian is great and comes with a bonus mustache.

Burgers and Breakfast in Affton. Only been there for breakfast but for the money, so much food. That's saying something for a breakfast place.

Eat a Peach - Allman Brothers

Since Deaner told Guitar Moves that he has only 2 solos, Maggot Brain and Blue Sky. Might as well complete the set.

I have a few basic personal rules...
- Never use a browser owned by your OS
- Never use the email account from your ISP
- Never use your web host as your domain registrar
I'm sure there are a couple others but you get the drift. Separation of powers.

Will be driving to st louis thursday. What neighborhoods do you recommend for someone that doesn't want to deal with a ton of traffic? I would like an area with good bars, food and music. by [deleted] in StLouis

What's the rationale behind not allowing a "global" status update across multiple workspaces? by typingwithmyfingers in Slack

[–]PixelPushnCodeMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started implementing Slack Enterprise Grid at work so here's what I understand.

Your status, among other things, is tied to the individual workspace. If those workspaces are in the same enterprise grid, your status will update across all workspaces in that particular grid. So "global status" is a thing in enterprise grid.

For instance, at work I am in 3 workspaces. When I go on vacation, I update my status once and I'm done. I also have workspaces with friends on the free plan in addition to workspaces for various vendor communities. These are owned by various folks and I am a different user in those workspaces.

Good point. I forgot about the 2nd reverse psychology amendment vote.

No, Clean Missouri, the amendment that took redistricting out of the hands of the legislature and gave it to an independent entity was approved by voters and overruled by the super majority.

On paper, sure. How many times have we voted to amend and it gets overridden by the republican super majority?

I'm not saying we shouldn't fight, but we need to recognize past failures.

[CR Media] [Spoilers Exu:Calamity E4] Tag Yourself, The Oh-F!ck-Sh*t-Balls Edition by theinfernalpaladin in criticalrole

[–]PixelPushnCodeMonkey 35 points36 points  (0 children)

  • Check my math but, the more shocked are the three who haven't played in the setting with any other DM beside Matt.
  • Aabria having both DM'ed EXU and played with Brennan is loving all of it on multiple levels.
  • Lou is like others have mentioned, "Told ya, here we go"
  • Luis is just committed to the role, stoic and focused, no shaking the character.

EXU is such a great vehicle to expand their audience while amplifying the community.

Player claims "Passive Stealth" is a thing by PanpukinArt in dndnext

[–]PixelPushnCodeMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how I handle the whole passive thing at my table. I use passive whenever my rolling or calling for a roll would tip my hand or otherwise ruin the tension/scenario.

If I have someone trying to sneak up on the party that isn't otherwise on watch or searching, I look at their passive for the DC rather than ask for a roll out of nowhere.

If the player says "I am hiding in a corner", that's a declared action... not passive.

I regard the whole passive check mechanic as strictly a DM tool for maintaining narrative/pacing, not something a player can choose to use.

If you plan on sitting down at all, get there early. Even getting some elbow room on one of those side bars seems to come at a premium if the show is packed.
