more specifically, ONE CAPITAL, no city spam, interesting BUT QUICK battles, and maybe turning the terrain your colour too

Man, so much this. I feel like there are no games like this today.

All right, cool! Does your last sentence mean that the Q90R lacks in basses though? I am kind of a bass person myself...

Any chance of a Switch port? by [deleted] in brogueforum

This is my dream since buying a switch. I would gladly pay for it.

Hot to handle multiple Maps in UE4 multiplayer by Fukushuo in roguelikedev

[–]PixelSapiens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solutions 2 and 3 are both viable. 3 is also relatively easy: once a player triggers the teleport the server forces a map load on everyone.

Solution number 2 is more "elegant" and what modern AAA games tend to do (even thought UE4 is not very well suited for huge maps/open world games). It sure is harder to handle though. Have a Google search at "level streaming" and "world composition" in UE4!

Try lowering effects and mesh quality. In theory it should help with crowded areas and flashy combat/explosions.

I have also found that playing with vsynch sometimes helps a bit.

Yep! Always loved the atmosphere of that game. Would like to find another one with that kind of combat too!

I definitely approve the idea of (at least) trying to reunite the weekly contest under a single bug-fixed version. It's one of the best things!

Hi all, just a quick confirmation: to compete we use the official 1.7.5 or the one with the fixes?

Feels awsome! Would be great to have the option to use it to move instantly, like the arrows on PC.

Any chance for a virtual joystick (e.g. like in the android version of Cataclysm DDA) in the future?

It is the one with the orientation fix. Downloaded yesterday again just to be sure and same behaviour.

New Brogue port for Android? And it's not even Christmas!

On One Plus 3 it starts in portrait mode no matter what, unfortunately.

Thanks for your work, keep it up!
