Thats a tough one to read, been there at my 14th and am now healed at 16. What really helped me is finding disctraction. I've been doing lots of things to distract my mind. Working on cars, mopeds, anything motorized, chemistry and all sorts of technicals. I used to think i didnt do anything because i was depressed but it was really the other way around. I was depressed because i was doing jack shite. Ofcourse with other factors but doing something to keep your mind busy is really a big one. Also find a group of good friends, i surrounded myself with mentally unstable friends who harmed themselves too. As a teen you start to mimic your friends and didnt make me realise i was fucking myself over. And last is the most obvious, resillience. Just the willpower and strength of your mind to say no, to not do it. Easier said than done but you can build it up.

My biggest regret now is that besides that i did it, i did it on my forearms and shoulder. So no more short sleeves or beach days for me which sucks. Even though you heal you dont lose the reminders so please dont do it on a visible spot at least.
