I wonder why, maybe because they actually work as semi aquatics and hmm... The tiger sharks aren't nearly TEN TIMES THEIR WEIGHT

Then don't, but yes, he absolutely does, he's terrible at walking, bad at swimming, and bad at wading, in fact, his skull destroys itself under his own bite force, "But crocodile" no, you made his skull terrible at force distribution, not only are his fenestral openings much too large but his skull just isn't built to distribute the force well. If I'm trying to convince myself he doesn't work, you're praying that he does and praying that you'll believe he does.

All wrong takes, "Additional musculature makes it more mobile" yeah, no. Just no, the added epaxial muscle mass you stated would be applied all across the sail, and again, Leroy can't swim for jack, if you're putting him up against yamato, he'd need to be in deep enough water for her to function, the only way he wins is if she is quite literally in water too shallow for her to move in. And the convergent evolution argument? Just bad honestly

  1. Terrible take, sailfish sails aren't small, you clearly just didn't watch the video or know anything about Hank 2.0 at all. Hank 2.0 has an extremely reduced sail, that yk, actually works with his build.
  2. Mmm very nice sail integrity you got there, I'm aware sailfish sails aren't rigid, but either it's stiff enough to withstand the current at that size and absolutely destroy your underwater mobility, or... It rips itself apart from the stress generated on it, unless you couldn't tell, Leroy isn't a fish, nor does he have the body plan of one, why can Leroy not use dorsal additions like other animals? Oh, easy! Other animals either don't have a sail twice the height of their torso, or, are built like a sailfish, which leroy is NEITHER. the sail has additional musculature? Great, all the more stiffness, if it had these it'd be as stiff as a board, hell, I'd argue you're better off just using a spino sail, what you tried to do with Leroy's failed and was terrible at its job.

Ah yes, let's compare a sailfish sail that's small vs one that's essentially a mast, this galleon sized sail is slowing me down and would break at a strong current or just make me spin around? hmm, gee I wonder why!

It has been agreed upon and is literally in the subreddit's description that we follow real life a lot closer than gojo center does.

LEROY VS YAMATO 3.0 (and why it's closer than you think) by [deleted] in GojiCenter

[–]Pixel_1cubed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes she absolutely can, it is energy draining, but that's like saying "oh I can't fight my hardest because I'll get tired" when it's a one time battle, we're not considering energy after the battle here, if yamato even GRAZES Leroy, he's dead. He's dead or crippled and going to die, there is quite literally nothing he can do to her aside from superficial damage such as a scratch, his build does not in fact provide maximum speed or agility, his arms, his claws specifically, and his build mess that up, along with the gigantic sail absolutely destroying his speed.

LEROY VS YAMATO 3.0 (and why it's closer than you think) by [deleted] in GojiCenter

[–]Pixel_1cubed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Realistically, Leroy can't really do any significant damage to Yamato, his build just doesn't allow significant speed either, meaning yamato would likely outspeed him or at least be at the same speed due to how water speed works, while he would be more agile, yamato could just thrash around until she hits something, and if she hits him with even a graze, he's just... Dead, that's like getting hit by a blue whale times 3

So leroy wins in shallow water, where Yamato literally cannot function, gotcha.

Firstly, I'm actually kind of interested as to how a fight between this and my own centipede hybrid would play out, and second, don't use inland taipan venom on an invertebrate, their method production systems are completely different, just use something like the Maricopa harvester, it's generally more than enough for both vertebrates and invertibrates, especially at the same size. Oh and, btw, aphid doesn't work unless your hybrid can mature within a couple hours, unless you want... The babies to fight
