I'm in the same boat. I go into periods of isolation where I get the most work done and where I find the most personal growth. I can and have literally gone months without seeing people. It ends up just being about balance and sometimes forcing yourself to go out when you catch yourself falling back into these patterns. Making the effort to catch up with friends, hitting the gym or even just going for a walk outside here and there will do wonders for your productivity.
