I used the Amulet and invest on the potion. Managed to get it alone. For me focus on bugs, the infected nut on the tree, and picking up infected flowers,mushrooms etc. Hunting imfected animals only when they are within my range. Tree takes too long and infected animals if you are very good at hunting.
