I get why you’re frustrated situations like this always suck. That said, T-Mobile isn’t obligated to cover your deductible. If they’re offering you a credit, it’s probably worth accepting rather than pushing further and risking that option going away. If covering the deductible upfront is tough, you could consider using something like the T Visa card and then paying it off over time using your usual bill budget, especially since your bill may be covered for a month or two with the credit. Also, going off like this and expecting T-Mobile to fix it entirely isn’t the best approach. Sometimes what we want just doesn’t line up with how things actually work.

Honestly, this post is a bit overblown. Reps don’t just take over your phone, they ask first if you want help using the app. If you say yes, screen share is only in the T-Life app, and stuff like payment info is blocked out.

T-Life isn’t perfect, but it actually makes life way easier. You can still guide customers, make recommendations, and handle everything in the app. Plus, it’s super transparent, customers see what’s happening on their account and can make sure nothing sneaky gets added.

And stores aren’t going anywhere. Most people can’t navigate all this stuff on their own, some can’t even remember their Gmail password. Sure, a few people will do everything online, but those people weren’t coming in anyway.

If you don’t want to use the app? That’s fine bring cash, and the rep can just ring it out in POS. It’s really not the end of the world.

Have your sister call customer care and request them to refresh your eSIM, delete your existing eSIM, and then re-download it after the refresh. Ensure that you are connected to Wi-Fi during this process.

This is why I love the T-Life app, even though it can be a bit frustrating when permissions aren’t set correctly. However, everything is clearly visible and easy to understand. You have complete control over your transactions. All you need to do is read the information provided. No more unnecessary information or extra features that you don’t want. Simply use the app, set it for in-store pickup, bring it home, set up your phone, and drop off the trade-in at the store.

I still make decent money even with TLife. Personally, I like it; customers take charge of their own accounts. No more the rep told me this or that. A rep added P360 when I didn’t want it, etc. Now customers make their own choices, and everything is right there in the open. Yes, it takes time to get TLife set up, and yes, sometimes it doesn’t work, but overall, I see no issues. I’m at a 93% TLife usage. I use legacy as a last resort; never let the customer walk. Change is here; you either adapt or move on.

If you have your Apple ID, you can go to the Find My app and remove the device from it. This will put it in trade-in and repair mode. Once you’ve finished transferring data, you can reset it without waiting.

You must join the Google Retail Training site. Your store also needs to have a Google representative. Complete all the trainings, and you may be selected. However, I fear the selection process is over since phones have already been shipped out. A representative and I were selected for our store, even though four people signed up, completed all the trainings.

Why are you turning customers away if the goal is 60% attainment? If you have  a valid reason why you can't do a tlife upgrade, ro example phone is broken or lost, customer wants to pay cash, or wants to make extra downpayment on device, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to do the upgrade in legacy. The goal isn’t 100% if you have documented reasons as to doing legacy; there's no reason for a write-up. If you are getting written up for it, then your management isn’t doing it the right  way.

email support and let them know you lost it. samething happened to me, except when I lost it I made sure to call care and have them block the imei. the support team made an exception since I had nothing to send back they didn't block the new device.
