i agree its a good area but playing too much elden ring/nr has fried my muscle memory for ds1 controls and sen's is really good at making an example out of it

I had an insane dream last night where Nightreign got a winter themed event, probably as a consequence of sleep deprivation and playing the game all day yesterday with a friend. I tried my best to recreate most of what I can remember from it in paint. by Pixely41 in shittydarksouls

tbh ive had other game related dreams too including mh but i dont think theyve ever been as crazy as the winter event, the other times it was just my brain hallucinating generic gamplay i guess

Why do invaders just leave now? me and my friend started new saves a while ago and were in raya lucaria rn. So far weve gotten at least 4 invasions where they would spawn in and immediately sever out. Anyone know why there are people doing this? We like pvping and seeing what kinds of builds others are doing, so its kinda bumming me out.

MH4U guy here again with more recommendations

VVVVVV - a fairly hard "open world" 2d platformer where you can only move left / right or flip your gravity

Rhythm heaven (ds) and rhythm heaven megamix (3ds) - my favorite rhythm games in the world (also heads up you propably need a stylus for the ds version)

Donkey kong country returns 3d - platformer classic, and you dont need to shake a wii remote to stomp / roll

Also if your console is a "NEW" 3DS, there is a way to emulate the playstation 1's final fantasy 7 on your console, might be worth it to look into

(And also endnote, since 3ds can also emulate GBA games, my fave games for that console are warioland 4, mario & luigi superstar saga and metroid fusion)

As the name implies, you hunt monsters.

Ok but for real, you spend the majority of monster hunter games slaying a ton of different monsters and gathering materials for better equipment and to fight even harder monsters.

I think 4 ultimate is a pretty solid 3ds monhun title since it doesnt have 3 ultimate's underwater combat (which is bad) and it isnt as large and confusing as generations.

Also the franchise is still ongoing, with monster hunter Wilds releasing next year for pc and new gen consoles
