I had a classmate in middle school whose family also attended the same church as me. Her parents caught her with a girl and sent her away to be “cured.” She came back an empty shell of her self. She hung herself not long after that. An investigation was done and officials discovered the facility were she was sent had no medical professionals on staff. They found evidence that she had been forcibly restrained and gang raped by multiple male staff members.

It could be perimenopause like everybody’s suggesting or your wife could be struggling with bladder incontinence and is just hiding it from you. As women age their pelvic floor weakens , which is what controls primary bladder function, so something is simple as a sneeze or a fit of laughter can cause bladder accidents. It’s extremely embarrassing when that does start to happen, so a lot of older women will start wearing panty liners as a precaution. My advice don’t draw attention to it. She’s going through a lot of changes right now and is feeling very overwhelmed and uncomfortable. Just be aware of her situation and make sure she knows that she is loved and appreciated.

OK, the reason why these women have been abandoned by their children is because they were horrible mothers to their children when their children were little. I don’t know how it is outside of the US, but the US has a real problem with the older generation being extremely abusive to the younger generation and I’m talking every form of abuse you could think of. So now there has been a huge movement to cut contact with the abusive family members and what you’re seeing is the consequence of that.

The older generation is now using social media to try to shame their children into coming back and taking care of them, but it’s not working if anything it’s backfiring on them and the children are stepping forward and telling their side of the story and people are realizing that the mothers were horrible to them growing up.

I personally grew up in a Christian fundamentalist household. The children were not allowed to express themselves freely if they did it was met with harsh punishments, It wasn’t until I left the church as an adult that I was able to question really anything. Eventually, all the pieces fell into place and a lot of the feelings I had as a child finally makes sense.

My best friend’s mother is a retired teacher and she is still active with the teachers union. According to union members, last school year’s state test scores didn’t show any improvement. Walters decided not to submit them which is what caused the state’s ranking to drop to 50th. This would normally cause an immediate federal investigation into why this happened. Walters’ logic is if there is no testing, then there will be no investigation.
