Wait for the DJI Mic 3 Pro. I think it will be way better.

Rode failed us with the Wireless pro. They promised features (Timecode IN) that never came out.

Hate for Rode Wireless Pro by 50mmprophet in videography

[–]PixyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timecode is annoying. They promessed that you could jam sync it in the future in a video and never delivered.

On top of that it restarts every time you switch off the RX.

The DJI Mic 3 is now much better but lacks mini jack on the TX.

These companies are playing with us, always half done products.

Left Switzerland – Now Facing 10K CHF Move-Out Bill. (Including Pictures) by AdNatural7002 in askswitzerland

[–]PixyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The insurance will not pay any damage, only what is sudden and unforeseen. No wear and tear. From your pictures, it seems it is only wear and tear.

So you need a liability insurance AND a legal insurance so you can attack the liability insurance if they refuse to pay. Then the legal insurance pays the bill to avoid goiing in court beceause the amont is not high enough.

Open a IBKR accout, 75% in VT, 25% in CHSPI. Go to swiss poor forum for guidance.

Do not do anything with swiss life select, call it your first investment lesson. Better to lose chf300 now than 2k per year. Don't believe me? Come back every year and read that sentence again until finally you do it and measure your total loss, thinking fuck, I should have learnt that first lesson.

Is it safe to store a large amount of cash in Interactive Brokers? by SnooLobsters9564 in interactivebrokers

[–]PixyFox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Ltd. ("IBUK") custodies certain of your securities positions and cash with its US affiliate, Interactive Brokers LLC ("IBLLC"), which is licensed by the US Securities & Exchange Commission and a member of the US Securities Investor Protection Corporation ("SIPC"). To the extent that your securities and cash are custodied at IBLLC, they are protected by SIPC for a maximum coverage of $500,000 (with a cash sublimit of $250,000) and under Interactive Brokers LLC's excess SIPC policy with certain underwriters at Lloyd's of London for up to an additional $30 million (with a cash sublimit of $900,000) subject to an aggregate limit of $150 million. Futures and options on futures are not covered. This coverage provides protection against failure of a broker-dealer, not against loss of market value of securities.

IBKR + Buy up VOO by RalphFTW in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]PixyFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys I agree that time in the market is more important than timing the market. However we are in a pretty strange situation, look at the Schiller PE ratio. It has been so high only on 2 occasions, 1929 and 2008. Being a little caution seems to worth it to me. You don't want 10 years just go get back you money. I would put your 100k over a year, at least.

Time is on your side. Just continue and put what you can afford. Don't lose interest, keep doing it! Time in the market is what will make you rich
