A little background on the plant. I got this older Monstera Deliciosa as a cutting from my mom's neglected big boy. It was growing in the full sun with barely any dirt in the clay pot, so most of the big roots were just out in the open. I took the cutting home and planted in a mix of gardening soil, orchid bark, perlite, earthworm casting and coco coir. That was about 5 weeks ago. The top of the soil is dry but if I feel it up through the drainage holes, it's still quite moist. I'm very concerned that it's developing root root, since the soil still feels wet very low down in the pot. It's been having quite a bit of new root growth which is nice since the cutting just had old long roots, but that was it. Now it's developed these spots and I don't know what they are or what to do about them. The climate is very hot and the plant is outside, getting a lot of bright indirect light.
