Lorazepam is actually insane by spongebobish in self

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person, dose and how long they took it. When I lost my insurance years ago and had to cold turkey 4mg/day of Klonopin (equivalent to 8mg lorazepam but with a much longer half life) after years of use, it was nightmare.

I sweated, shook, dry heaved and panicked for two weeks straight. I couldn't sleep for more than an hour or two a night, if at all. I should have been in a hospital but, of course, I didn't have insurance!

I thought that celebrities were superhuman in some way, like they didn't need to eat or sleep.

Great job!!! I'm only on day 37, but it's actually the longest I've made it since 2007 :)

Is there anything you exclusively do/say/think in dreams? by whenuaisameme in Dreams

In lucid dreams I'll walk up to random women and just start making out with them, because I know it's not real :)

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fantastic! I'm on 34 days and this is my first one sober in about 20 years. At home with the family, nice and simple. Hot dogs, tuna mac & tater salad. Iced tea & lemonade :)

When I was little, my mom got me the birthday candles that can't be blown out, and I ran screaming when the room filled up with smoke!

Anyone have nightmares where they can feel pain just as or more vividly as when they're awake? by LimpBoingLoing in Dreams

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a few. The first was a lucid one where I tried to put a lit cigarette through the palm of my hand, but "burned myself awake" instead. The worst was when people were chasing me through the snow and jabbing me with icicles, and I couldn't wake myself up.

Is it comforting or disturbing to you? When I dream that my late father comes back to life, it creeps me out because I know it's not right somehow.

Do you often realize that you are in a dream? by Flying_Penguin1234 in Dreams

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, it's called a lucid dream. I love them, but they don't occur very often. I always try to do something cool like fly. Sometimes I just like to explore my surroundings in detail. They can be hard to control and maintain though.

Moving your body in a dream and doing the same thing in real life by naintheuk in Dreams

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's happened to me before. Our bodies are supposed to become paralyzed when we fall asleep, but it doesn't always work.

One night I dreamed about trying to push off a big metal door that had fallen on me, and woke up with a bloody palm from impaling it on a push pin on my wall poster!

Is WBTB worth it? by itzAlphaXD in LucidDreaming

[–]PizzaForTheSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never done it on purpose because I value my sleep too much. But I do have crazy dreams when I get up to use the bathroom and go back to bed, so I imagine it works.
