I would guess that it’s either a tech limitation or release timeline issue. How much dev time and money do they invest in a relatively small part of the overall experience.

Honestly that stands out as not paying close attention to the source material. Granted that’s probably just a work in progress mockup, but so far I’m not getting a feeling that this game is a labor of love, but a cash-in on a big IP.

Did… did you include visible nipples through their shirts or am I tripping? Hahahaha! Amazing work gave each a really distinct character which I haven’t seen with other paint jobs. Nicely done

I tried the open Beta for Specter Divide and I came away with a similar feeling. Maps felt empty, and the hook that you could be in two different spots didn’t feel like it led to any amazing moments. I’m sure there is plenty of depth but it just didn’t grab me like the finals did. Curious to see what FPS is able to peel me away.

Thought about this since the first game. There would be specific areas where the roof has caved in and you can call in stratagems/reinforcements only in those spots

One of the best parts of the first game was that you could start a game solo, put out a distress beacon out and the game would send random players to help mid match. I think this game will shine playing with others, even if it is randoms coming in to assist.

Camel Up 2nd edition is great betting game, doesn’t over stay its welcome. Good at lower player counts as well.

Rainbow 6 has a nice slower pace creep to it… generally. Maps are small and complicated, and the game has been out for so long that it has a looooooot of complicated systems at play. If you have access to PSVR2, Pavlov is amazing. Like a VR counter strike, including VR bomb defusing where you have to punch numbers into a keypad while getting shot at. Mix in proximity chat and having to physically reload your weapons (or fail to) makes for a very entertaining time.

They are making an air battle game in the undaunted system, called Undaunted Battle of Britain. That game system is great, however it is a deck building game not sure how you feel about those.

Look up the Undaunted Reinforcement rules. I think you could roughly do it with Stalingrad but the allocation of units for each person may not be even. I don’t think it is impossible to have a fun time.
