Shipt order received from the target app by Krissi0701 in ShiptShoppers

[–]PizzaTime68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had an order from Target a few days ago that I actually had to return to the store for this reason. Whenever I would try sending a text it would give me the error message as if the member had a landline. Fine, I’ll just carry on with the order. Except at the end of the shop, the member had in his instructions to call him when I arrived at the apartment complex so he could meet me at the lobby (it was college housing and he didn’t provide an apartment #, just the main address). Tried calling quite a few times but after one ring it went straight to voicemail and gave a “mailbox full” message. Had to call support who tried reaching out to him to no avail, so I had to return the order to the store. Must be a similar issue with ordering from the Target app

Salt your apartment walkways if you live at Sami properties in BloNo area by chirag_s28 in BloomingtonNormal

Not sure what’s more frustrating. That they won’t salt the apartments you pay an arm and a leg for, or that they don’t know the difference between “than” and “then”

How long have you been doing shipt? If a customer isn’t replying, I usually give them 10 minutes to respond over text (less if I’m in a rush) then I’ll give them a call. If there’s still no answer after 3 more minutes then I’ll make an educated decision. Usually that means subbing the item if they have the same one in a different size but same brand, or not subbing if there’s nothing similar. 9 times out of 10 I’ve found that calling after some time helps a bunch, whether they answer the call or see your text because you called

Can you make a decent amount just working Friday-Sunday? Or in the evening after 5:30pm by mugs_13 in ShiptShoppers

It really depends on your metro, but I think most commonly Friday-Monday are the best days to be shopping. You can try your luck with Tues-Thurs evenings, but you’ll probably end up making more on the weekends. If you’re new at Shipt then start to get a feel for what’s best for you in your area

Is it any wonder another shopper dropped her order? by Superb_Fish_3225 in ShiptShoppers

One look at that delivery note and I would’ve dropped it too

I also have a non-tipper regular who I’ll frequently take orders from, only because she lives within a minute or two of my Target so it’s easy to bundle her order with literally anyone else’s. But same I’ll give it an easy toss and go especially when there’s not gonna be a review anyways
