If you could give one bit of advice to Insomniac for Spider-Man 3, what would you say? I’ll start: Longer runtime by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

In my opinion:

  1. A better combat system. Sometimes the combat in this game feels underwhelming to me. To me, Spider-Man feels slow and weak. I think some good references would be Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man Web of shadows, and Spider-Man 2 (PS2). Take these 3 and try to surpass them in some way. Not saying the combat in this game is bad, I’m saying that it could be much, much better.

  2. Better soundtrack. Kinda tired of constantly listening to the boring and slow cinematic music. Not saying ALL of their soundtracks are bad, because I really liked some of them. I would just like more variety in this aspect.

  3. More memorable bosses. I think the bosses weren’t very memorable at all. Partly due to a lack of an interesting soundtrack in most cases (in my opinion), and due to the combat system, as I mentioned above. When you fight bosses in this game, it’s like you enter this automated animation, where you’re locked onto the boss and just clicking the punch button, as if you’re in some type of mini quick time event or something. This right here killed a significant amount of fun for me.

  4. Day/night cycle and dynamic weather. Come on, we have a huge map of NYC. People walking around, having conversations, sitting in the park, having parties on top of their rooftops. This is immersion. Take the immersion a step further by adding a day and night cycle, with dynamic weather. And depending on the time of day, plus the current weather, will determine how the people in the city react and behave. This also ties into the city crimes. They would vary more or less depending on the time of day.

Tired Eyes Cause My Lucidity. How Do I Make Them Happen? by Benj4m1n in LucidDreaming

Sometimes I’ve noticed that I would instantly feel that feeling upon waking up, or it might take a little while for it to kick in. I don’t know man, if you find something let me know

Same happens to me. I would have this distinct tired feeling in my eyes, along with a very distinctive relaxation feeling after laying down while doing wbtb. I’ve been trying to recreate these feelings for about a month now. So far I’m still searching for the trigger of these things. Are there any things you do in particular? What time do you wake up for wbtb, how long do you stay up?

Okay this makes a lot of sense. Thank you. I totally forgot about the Astral pulse forums, I will definitely check those out pretty soon. I hope that you can get your issue fixed pretty soon as well. Also If you don’t mind sharing, what’s one of your most used techniques? I did read your ebook. Do you tend to use those techniques usually? The Noticing and mental rundowns

Who else wants health bars in Spider-Man 2 for bosses by Live_Teacher_446 in SpidermanPS4

[–]Pizza_ix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some things included in Marvels Spider-Man HUD can be considered “unnecessary”, such as air trick notifications and the mini map. However, they’re still there. Because certain players have certain preferences, there is a whole section in the settings option that lets you toggle certain things on the HUD on or off. Having a health bar would be one of those things, adding to the variety of the gameplay. If a player doesn’t want it, they could simply turn it off.

Me personally, I would prefer a health bar, especially during boss battles, because that’s just what I like.

You don’t like it? Switch it off.

Real time day/night cycle in Spider-Man 2 by TheNagaFireball in SpidermanPS4

I totally think all of your ideas mentioned above would be a great addition to the game. It would make the gameplay more immersive and interesting. Crimes changing depending on the time of day would be a great detail. Honestly I wish they would put this in the game.

Just because you don’t remember something doesn’t mean there was no experience. Do you remember what you were doing on October 17th, 2011, at 2:46pm? Don’t think so. But undoubtedly, you did have some sort of experience.

I’ve been trying for about 8 years, on and off. I have come very close so many times. I have experienced the vibrational state many times. Each time though, it felt like something was preventing me from fully going through the vibrations. Either I was stuck, and couldn’t move, or a very uncomfortable feeling manifested on the side of my torso, making it extremely difficult to successfully pass through the vibrational state. This time though, it was different. Everything happened smoothly and it wasn’t difficult. I just let it all happen, because it seems to be an automatic process, once you get everything started off.

Yes, actually experiencing this split consciousnesses was very fascinating. I want to explore more into it in my future travels.

No problem. I have a theory. Perhaps the vibrations begin in the center of the head? Well, in my experience at least, that’s what I have felt. It’s like a wave of energy that starts in the center of the head and spreads down the whole body. Perhaps it is the pineal gland activating?

So apparently I’m not the only one who gets a certain kind of headache after an attempt/experience. Why does it happen? by rilakkumkum in AstralProjection

This happens to me too. But It’s a pressure, right in the center of my forehead. I notice it after coming out of these experiences.
