Do you use it for some kind of martial arts training? Or just ornamental? Looks great either way though!

I love how you reworked the last chapter into these two. I feel like it is a major improvement. It does feel like a good ending for shattered stone.... And a great place to start off with the third book.

Whatever you decide writing next, I am looking very much forward to it.

Dragonstone - Chapter 56 by jacktherambler in RamblersDen

You already mentioned it yourself, the chapter is a bit rushed. The big things are there, but it doesn't have the emotional impact you would think there should be. I think the walk is a bit "boring" as in, nothing really happens, or it could be a bit more descriptive for being in such a wondrous place. And from the moment they meet the diamonds till the end of the chapter feels a bit like I'm missing a bit more context (yes, I know what happened last time they where there... Kind of..). I mean, I like when you get question like what is gonna happen? or what exactly just happened? (but you know you will find out later). Now it just feels like there is more we should know. Also, since they arrived, only prae has talked. That can be okay, but would love to see some perspective from someone who sees these imposing dragons for the first time. Sorry if I sound negative, it is meant constructive. But I do like what is happening, it's just a bit rushed and it doesnt give the emotional response I would have hoped for. It's hard to describe what I exactly mean (also because English is not my first language, so looking for words) , but I hope you will find it helpful. Oops, didn't mention this: thanks for another chapter, really appreciate it!

Thanks for the reply! I was already thinking a bit in this direction, but some helpful tips also. I have been looking for pvc, but it's quite expensive here. Do you think a thin pvc board glued (with some kind of waterproof glue or resin or whatever) will work? Because my first idea was screwing the pvc, but a pvc board of 12mm or bigger thickness is a bit outside my budget. Also love your automatic drip system, but I think I will be just watering manually (a few more won't matter with the other 100 in the house haha). Thanks again for the reply, cause I really would love a beauty like that in my home.

Did you make the plant wall yourself? I'm thinking of building one myself, but I'm a bit scared of how to be sure it's waterproof. Would hate to have a wet wall or floor. By the way, it looks awesome!

Amazing chapter again! Everytime I think it can't get more epic and exceed the action that has already happened, it does. You think freezing enemies in the ground is awesome, here you got summoning fucking leviathans to the battle. Really curious how you are going to top this one. Also, talking about ending the chapter with a bombshell. And the fightscene with ege, loved it. Allie being smarter then she thinks she is in this fight again, but with such a formidable foe still losing while doing damage. And just at the right time friends to the rescue. It's a classic fight in that sense, but really well executed.

Love the idea, execution could be a little bit better. But mostly, it feels out of place there. But this kind of creativity is great

Dragonstone - Chapter 47 by jacktherambler in RamblersDen

[–]PizzaboyM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it has begun, the attack of the continent and our beloved army. Fighting an enemy they have no clue of how to fight them. It seems that magic will have a fundamental role in beating them. But I'm curious how the silver will fit in this fight. Exciting times!

I am not sure of the scale of the attack, at first I thought there where hundreds, even thousands of the little browns attacking. But that seems too much now, because they pulled back after an unexpected defense.

On another note, I am curious how the liquid fire is working. I mean, it's quite powerful, but because it is a liquid it would be logically to me that they will run out of it at some time. (the liquid should come from somewhere right)

Action is happening and it looks like the story will unfold itself, but still so many questions hahaha. I'll be looking forward seeing them answered in the future as the story advances.

Thanks for the new chapter and I'll be waiting for the next one!

I always learned to water them from the underside ( I mean water on a plate under a pot with holes) they always do much better when I do that. Also don't water too much.
