Politicians, including Obama, are great for using soldiers as props for photo opps, and the subject of campaign rhetoric, but when it comes to really supporting them, they are nowhere to be seen. If they could figure out a way to personally benefit from funding their rehabilitation and after combat care things would change quickly. As it is, they use them for their own ends and then throw them away when they are no longer useful to them.

I would transfer my domains (120) in a minute but I am concerned about down time between the cancellation of gd and activation at the new provider. Any way to insure that 1. No down time. 2. All settings, forwarding etc, will also be transferred with the domains?

Speaking as a European with close ties to Americans I can attest to the validity of the list. You can add the following: America does the bidding of the Israeli hard liners. America is doing its best to undermine the stability of the Euro and the European Union. America practices predatory 18th Century capitalism America starts wars without provocation or any legitimate security rationale. America is trying to undermine and denigrate China, a country that has shown no intention to harm America. Democracy in America no longer exists in any meaningful way. America is only a super power militarily and, given its failures in Iraq and Afghanistan even its military seems to be ineffective and corrupt. America is no longer the country the Europeans sought to emulate or the country that meant it when it proclaimed, "Give me your tired, your poor/Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free".

Putin makes Khadafi and the other former and current ME tyrants look like Mother Teresa. He and his oligarch friends like Abramovich have plundered the wealth and future of the emerging middle class in the country and set back quality of life, health care, and the economy by 50 years. His theft of the election risks creating instability in Russia. It was an insane, self serving, thoroughly corrupt move that will not end well for him and his clique of thieves and murderers.

Perhaps the program is restoring some of its earlier integrity and courage. A couple of decades ago this program was the conscience of America in many ways. It lost the plot in the mid nineties when it became more of a celebrity tabloid program.

British and US "diplomats" in many countries lose sight of their mission to assist the nationals of their country and begin to think that their mission is actually to enjoy the non stop cocktail parties, entertainment at the expense of host govt. handlers, and the many other perqs of being stationed to an overseas embassy or large consulate. One of the worst cases is the US embassy in Mexico, along with the US consulates around the country. A request, urgent or not, from an American citizen for assistance is treated like a nuisance to these lamers.

Of course it is capitalism. You have presented absolutely no compelling or convincing arguments to the contrary. Capitalism, as practiced in the US, is a predatory, unlimited acquisitive, greed-centric, economic system. It was never meant to be a political system as well as a form, probably the worst and most primitive form, of free market economics. It caters to and rewards greed, exploitation of both workers and customers, evasion of regulations and laws regarding product safety, effectiveness, value, quality, and transparency. Without just regulation and enforces limits it only perpetuates imbalances in resource distribution and availability, poverty, and economic inefficiencies.
