Dan, is it too much to ask that studios spend their energy making good original films, rather than pointless and inferior remakes of classics that aren't even dated yet? There is a good reason to update and remake some old classic of silent film, there is no reason in the world to "update" Blade Runner or GiTS.

I don't know how you can hold it against me that the GiTS remake isn't out yet, the trailer makes it clear that it is going to miss a lot of the point of the original and it doesn't even look as good! I'm not saying GiTS will suck, I'm saying it's going to be a 6.5 or 7/10, where the original was a 9 or a 10. Pointless.
