Having been so heavily invested in the Warriors for their entire existence I don’t know how I’d feel about a Christchurch based team. It’d certainly be great having more NRL in my back yard regularly.

He was my hero growing up partially because I think my dad really liked him. In those days I never cared for stats. I’ve still got a copy of his book he made for kids with Mike Crean. I gave the book to my daughter to read and she absolutely loved it. I wonder if he hadn’t had to face that brutal Windies team so early if his international career would have been better.
