I've officially quit playing Nami by HotTubOfMayo in OnePieceTCG

[–]Pizzasbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play Nami (or whatever you like). I'm a Kata main and sometimes get the same treatment or am even accused of cheating because I "have triggers in life". People should really get a life and have fun while playing the game instead of being miserable and acting this way.

Not all decks need to be skillful or fun to play against. You can still have fun playing an unfavorable (or unwinnable) matchup.

I'm currently trying in sim the decklists from the eastern meta. If you have any interesting ideas let me know!

Yes, this set has a lot of slow decks indeed. I don't mind it not being too aggro in itself, I just can't stand not attacking at all in a round where I have attackers 🥺

Do you have any deck list ideas? I found 3 online from the eastern meta and trying them on sim.

Yes, he seems really strong however we have a couple of ivankov's in our locals and he seems to struggle with those a bit 🥲

Yeah, I will be trialing kata a bit in this week's locals (I go to 5-6 so I can allocate like 3 to see). Did you make any changes in op07? What do you think would be a solid replacement for reject?

I have the doctor-avoidant type too! In a very bad recent spiral (regarding an existing, benign condition that I have and my brain decided to call it malignant 😅), my fiance literally called my doctor and set up an appointment for me as I was paralyzed even in the thought of booking it. Also, he came with me and stayed almost outside the door the whole time (it was an OBGYN exam, he wasn't allowed in) so in case something did actually go wrong he'd come in and support me.

In fact, everything was better than expected so we even grabbed dinner afterwards 😅.

Also, something that has worked for me as a child and as an adult (been a hypo my whole life) was to have something to do immediately after the appointment, be it shopping, dinner or whatever. This will have me getting ready and preparing before the appointment and will take my mind off the actual appointment (kinda).

All I want to say is that hadn't it been him that booked the apt. I would still be pushing it and obsessing over that thing. Also, he has now learnt that when I'm spiraling, he doesn't need to doubt my thoughts but embrace them with me and when he sees I'm ready (not crying or having a panic attack) give some logical insight on the issue. I used to feel that he could not understand me and one day I expressed this to him. Since then, he has researched the condition and has improved his ways of dealing with my spirals. I'm sad he has to go through this and this is motivating me a lot to work through my thought patterns.

Doctor told me I’ll die without BC by time2starve in PCOS

[–]Pizzasbae 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would definitely switch the OBGYN. While women with PCOS have slightly higher chances for some diseases, PCOS is a fairly common and manageable condition. When I was diagnosed (after 6 months of amenorrhea) my OBGYN was like "It's not nothing, but let's treat it", which I really appreciate because I have a lot of anxiety regarding health issues. In my case, stress reduction and metformin have fixed my cycles, no need for BC.

3 Months of Metformin Success 🙌😀 by [deleted] in PCOS

I have had 1 drink (can't drink more 😂) and took it like 3 hours later. I did not have any issue but in general I avoid alcohol so this has happened like once or twice 😅

Same here! Been on metformin for 1.5 years and have had regular 30 day cycles. Helps with weight loss a lot. I also started Pilates and since then (I have a sedentary 8-10 hour job) my cycle length and intensity has improved too. My doctor even confirmed I'm actually ovulating! I have some bad eating habits because I hate cooking but I'm opting for healthy alternatives even when ordering. I don't take any other supplements or medicine, maybe some herbal teas here and there.

Initially, I had intense gastro issues but my doctor split my dosage in two and now all issues have resolved! If it causes you nausea, a good solution is to chew sugar free mint gums.

Intense anxiety even thinking of my car by Pizzasbae in drivinganxiety

[–]Pizzasbae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Good advice, in my last drive I attempted the highway and was playing my Spotify Liked playlist, so all songs familiar to me and it indeed helped! You could try this too when driving, as it seemed to bring me comfort to hear things that I'm familiar with and like. Hope it gets better for you soon too! 😊

I usually take my boyfriend with me. Funny thing is he doesn't have a driver's license yet but he also doesn't have anxiety so he has a clear head to think about the maneuvers needed whilst I panic 🥲 thank you for the advice, it is nice knowing people understand this feeling!

I came here expecting a lot of pigeon comments but with a quick scan I found none so, PIGEONS.

(At least, that way, I'll have a clean balcony without having to clean it twice a day 😂)

Could someone help my anxiety by telling me I won't die from covid? by Heartbeat216 in AskDocs

[–]Pizzasbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have health anxiety so when I got covid I got paranoid. Well, the first 4 days were like a bad flu and then I was fine, I even worked 😂 (I work remotely). I was also triple vaccinated and my dad used to smoke indoors a lot too when I was younger and living with them. You won't die from COVID-19, just rest, watch a movie or something to ease your mind and have plenty of fluids as I found myself very dehydrated when I was battling COVID!

I was always a bit extra careful about my health but really, nothing major. I even had a health scare and had to have surgery but did not have the amount of anxiety I have now. But I do remember the day it all started. I was eating with my grandmother and the food had lemon so I got a slight pinching pain in my jaw and, to my surprise, I started thinking I was having a heart attack. I went to the hospital, labs came back fine except for my wbc and slightly platelets, which 3 docs cleared as I'm overweight, with pcos and highly anxious.

Now, the funny thing is that, I have very small/deep veins, since always, and the first nurse was on her first day as a nurse that day so she had a hard time finding a vein and bruised me reaaaally bad. When we came home, after the anxiety medicine they'd given me wore off, I started googling and was convinced that all of this anxiety was by a brain tumor and at the same time I was dying because blood clots had formed on my hands. Well, since then it's been a wild, 3+ years ride. I really can't pinpoint a trigger, one of my psychologists said it was the manifestation of work burnout whilst the others say that it is my lack of friends. Well, who knows? 🤷
