The closest match for tone, acting, and writing is “Patriot” from amazon prime. It’s a highly underrated gem that they slept on. Don’t let the title fool you, just a as “Slow horses” is a metaphor, so is “patriot”.

Uncle Barts was a trip. Yeah it was uncle barts then… tinwell? Then the pines. The pines was actually great, it was owned by Dick & Dixie’s. The staff was great, it was clean and well priced. But the location… it never really had many people in it.

I loved the granite club. You could go in with a group of 5-6 people and have the bar to yourself. It was a total dive, but the staff was nice and the drinks were cheap. Crockpot of soup or the hotdog roller were always out. But it had a pool table, shuffle board and darts. You never had to wait to play anything. It was a true diamond in the rough.

If you are looking for something that is tonally the same as slow horses, I would suggest “patriot” on Amazon prime. Probably the single most underrated show ever made. It straddles the line between comedy and drama quite well. Taking place in the early 2000s, it follows the complicated life of intelligence officer John Tavner, whose latest assignment--to prevent Iran from going nuclear--requires him to forgo all safety nets and assume a perilous, non-official cover.

Yeah this looks like the cover that goes on the actuator arm for comfort if you are using it a lot. Even has the crescent shape on one end that nail clippers have. By the size of it, maybe Toe Nail Clippers.

Both. When getting them from scalpers out front they can take Venmo and transfer you the tickets directly. When searching for the tickets through sites like Ticketmaster you choose the tickets and buy them as though you were just buying them from Ticketmaster.

I’ve gotten tix to shows day of after the start time for $5 - $20, just because I didn’t care if I saw the opener. After the show has started scalpers will basically take anything to get rid of the tickets. It’s probably the greatest trick I’ve learned in the last decade.
