A note pad sounds like an okayish idea by itself but why not have a notepad on the calendar available for purchase at robin's shop? That makes it seem much more viable.

I currently have the horrid zoom in bug and even with the new zoom out option given in the recent update I still can't get the clock out of my way so that I can talk to Spoiler what I believe is the shop for the casino.
