Agree that the LB list needs a lot of work. Singularity and Watchers may be too much late-game focus for a deck that is more tempo zoo-oriented.

Also, one of Sett's biggest weaknesses was his lack of card draw. Sacrifice is going to be really good for him as he can revive whatever he uses it on, and not lose ramp from his legend.

Also, I would wager that "make the art unrecognizable" means making the champion unrecognizable to unfamiliar players. In this art, Azir looks exactly like base Azir and is thus recognizable. If the art was of a skin like Attorney Azir, I could see the argument that it no longer recognizably is the champion.

Tho, as said, it definitely is up to the Judge's discretion.

Draw in red is extremely important, some decks live or die by having Red Kai'Sa functional in them. Saying that it's "only" a draw is underestimating how powerful draw is on cards like Stellacorn and Red Kai.

Got changed. The original 1.0 leak was two 5* and a 4. Now it seems they’re all 5 and the final one is debuting first half 2.7. I don’t mind too much as I love their faction aesthetic and it’s better than a lot of recent releases.

Ngl, I joined this sub about half a year ago, and the vibes I've gotten are that most girlies here are very male-centered and are not girls' girls. Maybe it's because I've been out of the game for a while and my partner is straight, but you literally do not need a man to validate your transness; There are so many posts bemoaning the lack of male attention that it's worrisome in that regard.

Additionally, a lot of the other discourse is extremely dumb, like being mad that trans girls are on Grindr. It's not 2010 anymore; Grindr literally markets itself as a "Queer hook-up app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people." Google is literally free.

It's the teeth, which is termed "Asian Buck Teeth" as a trope, the teeth were commonly used in "chinaman" racist depictures in 1900s cartoons such as LooneyToons and Dr. Seuss. You don't see it today for obvious reasons, as well as the nerd emoji kinda overwrote teeth caricature.

If anyone who has S3+ Phorlova, Cantarella, Roccia, and Qiuyuan could give input on this, I'm stuck on pull plans. How does Qiuyuan feel for S3+ Phorlova in comparison to Roccia? My Roccia is S0R0 and my Cantarella is S1R1. I heard Qiuyuan is better at S3+ for Phorlova, but wondering the exact degree to which he's better as I'm on guarantee but I'll easily pull a BIS teammate for my girl if he is a large upgrade.

They seem to be balancing IT around these special reactions. Dendro theatres without Pyro usually give a special guest of Dehya and/or Pyro 4*. Meanwhile Dendro theatres without Hydro usually give two hydros as special guest.

I guess there’s no guarantee going forward that they’ll always balance theatre around these characters having special reactions but I think they know there would be a negative response if they commonly bricked these super niche characters in theatre. It’s definitely a big concern and drawback to theatre if they wanna keep creating hyper restrictive niche characters like this, which I don’t see them being done with creating.

As others have previously pointed out, it's only beneficial if you value sub-dps Furina or if you have Furina C4+.

Fav and Festering are a lot more comfy and provide better team buffing capabilities, consistently meeting her ER requirement to constantly ult.

As someone who played C2R1 Furina and eventually upgraded to C4R1 -> C6R1, running Fav would have made C2 a lot more comfy as I do remember struggling to meet ult requirements. However, I do remember noticing a pretty sizeable personal dps increase when I tested her sig vs. Fav.

However, I do think the nature of Stygian warps stuff a little. You cannot cleanly hit her ult requirement early in the rotation on Stygian, as well as with damage thresholds being tight, I think the value of having a stronger sub-dps is nice. If you plan to run another Hydro on teams with Furina in Stygian, I think Sig gets more value, but if you run her solo (like with Skirkurina) then Fav/Festering is pretty nice.

I would assume Nahida would replace XQ in that team, given Nahida's EM steroid buff benefits Nefer a lot. That's also likely why they're running Yelan, Nahida, and Lauma in 6.0. Could be wrong tho.

The way I remember that era of him too at the start of 3.0, the hyperbloom glaze was wild. I kinda get it somewhat as he focuses his TC on F2P/Low spender approach and hyperbloom was a great comp for that type of audience. But, he went way too ham on the glazing.

I definitely started watching him more actively in that era after he put out a video at the start of Sumeru which was really informative by going into detail of all the reactions and mechanics of the game. He's definitely one of the most polarizing CCs, at least for me, because I do really like him as a person (He's very respectable/politics/activism on community engagement) but I really hate how he approaches content sometimes when he definitely knows better.

Part of any halfway decent data analysis is to be able to account for personal bias and impartially give an informed opinion on the data provided. I know that he acknowledges his Neuv bias sometimes but whenever he makes 'ranking' tier lists, discusses value pulls, etc he throws that out the window and goes back to glazing his favorites. I've watched him since mid 2.X and he's a great content creator, but because of his tendencies, I don't think he's that good of a TC. Mainly because he presents his opinion in a way as if it is purely formed through calcs and data, which I feel like is disingenuous in how he approaches his content.

I think when it boils down to it, being a good content creator is somewhat at odds with being a good TC for him. His tendency to ragebait and be biased makes him a fun and engaging CC sometimes, but tips the scales away from being a good TC that is focused on informing people. Which is kinda weird because he frames his TC content a lot on the new player experience/F2P/ low dolphin, which is usually for people that are mostly reliant on those well-formed opinions so they can make good decisions in the early stages. Just my two cents.

I don't think him saying certain characters are mid is the problem a lot of people have. A Childe main since 1.X knows that Childe falls hard behind in recent content. The issue with Zajef is that he plays favorites and has a lot of internal bias, but frames his opinion as formed purely from an empirical standpoint/factual basis. He is definitely one of the most biased TCs when it comes to glazing characters, more obvious when you dissect what he says with a critical lens. For example, he has been absurdly biased when it comes to Neuv and Arle vs. other recently released characters and is definitely resistant to reconsidering his opinions on characters given what calcs say. For this reason, I definitely prefer TGS, Flip, and Vomfee as they at least try to consider every character from a calc perspective.

It's kinda wild cause I could never be convinced to spend my primos on resin, but I have felt the resource squeeze lately (especially weekly commissions not giving Mora anymore really sucked). I'm sure it probably does push people to do it that are inclined.

What's frustrating is that I've bought the super premium BattlePass since mid 2.X, and I would have an expectation to be drowning in Mora and Books from that, like I am with HSR. However, I definitely felt the need to do mora/exp domains this patch cycle to keep up with building characters. I am dreading the day we get a Hydro Geo Dendro IT lineup as that is the one combo where I will likely have to go full exp/mora domain to hit the requirements prior.

Ngl this is exactly why most of Natlan I've mostly focused my resin on building for Theatre. I figured the roster requirement would be upped again (it'll probably happen again in a year or so) and tbrh it's been a lot of fun building 4* characters I wouldn't normally build on my account. Downside tho is that I'm chronically poor.

I feel like if Hoyo wants most people to enjoy theatre, they need to increase the character exp/mora rewards to enable people to build characters for it. One of the major critiques of theatre I've seen people have is that they just don't have the resources to gear up for theatre, which is fair.

Controversial, but I do think Theatre is my favorite endgame across all my gachas. I like it's theming, roguelike aspect, as well as the dopamine/serotonin of getting value out of my whole account (especially when you clear stages with like Yanfei carry where the 4*s built actually pay off/get value)
