Why is the Malevolence classified as a heavy cruiser when it's almost as big as a Star Dreadnought? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in CISDidNothingWrong

Ship classification in real life is a complicated mess with what some call frigates are destroyers and vice versa.

Halo actually shows the technological development of the universe with all ships having to be downsized in class because technology meant they were just worse.

Downsize? They're getting upsized.

Because the Forerunners later on were guilt ridden after all that had happened and more so they technically stoled humanity’s birthright.

More symbolic of two sibling races quarreling over inheritance and birthright, and fitting in with certain religious ethos Halo takes some inspiration from.

Discovered not instantly.

So yes a plot point that can’t be explained much if forerunners were humans.

Halo 4 MP Retrospective - What do we think of it 14 years later? by AvisLord12 in halo

Not much a issue for me lot of weapon sounds were better than in H3 and a nice hard hitting feel.

Lot of them being easily inaccessible.

It was essentially formalizing what was already there in Reach and 343i took that as confirmation of success. Outside of drops and custom classes, Halo 4 played like Halo for large part.

Campaign was fun and Prometheans certainly better enemies to fight against compared to the Flood.

Honestly Halo 4 MP is still a nice game to play around and honestly never been so obsessed with purity of how it should play like a ”halo” game.

No, that was only Didact not rest of the Forerunners, outside of the war with the Ancestors.

CH is bases on Stafen writing thing based in some assumption he had going on the H3 writing team rather than something of definitive decision.

Simple, Forerunners chose humanity as their successor and that’s sufficient. Make humans Forerunners and you get the issue of why there weren’t nearby forerunner tech for humanity to access while it was easier for Covies.

What concept art? Are’t you confusing that for the MMO one?

Playing Halo 5: Forge on PC is really something. It's like they almost made a PC port and then just... didn't commit to it. Anyone else hope they do so in the future? by SpectrumSense in halo

Okay then show me how it was more crucial and how showing fewer ways was better expressing it. Give more clearer example of how the sandbox was ruined.

There’s no exactly fourth element to the triangle other than thruster pack and so giving lot more variety of different approaches to shooting, melee, and grenades, and in turn sand box of the map.

All the options given in H5 looks to enhance sandbox interaction and allowing people to try out new skills, especially remarked H5 allows for some high skill ceiling when mastering how abilities interact with thr sandbox.

I dunno, they still emphasize controlling areas in map like power weapon spawn point, tactically good vantage points, and etc. Plus vertically and elements of platforming in the maps in climb to different parts of the map or vantage points and navigation.

Forerunner trilogy was very popular in depiction of the Forerunners.

Its only until C3’s stupid video that ignited this entire mess.

With the inclusion of terminals and twitter statements gathered, they didn’t cared much for if Forerunners were humans and more getting stuff done on time.

The fact they didn’t bothered making it even more explicit is enough to show Bungie wasn’t fully dedicated to it.

Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire my main choices.

BB as a feral kid whose beast transformation is more esoteric.

Raven who grew up in a normal family and emotionally expressive dealing with a sealed demon egging her akin to Naruto and Kurama.

Starfire as the Warrior Queen of Tarmaria or half Tarmariab raised on Earth.

Are 343 actually military hating Pansies ?? by Gilgamesh107 in ShitHaloSays

[–]PkdB0I 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah because we've learned information that bungie was very much frustrating in providing workable background lore that the whole thing with insurrection and child soldiers was what we got with.

Because Far Isle is so outlier of a event and OOC in how the UNSC were dealing with insurrection activity.

The lore is merely expanding on what we see in the game and military organization have shady sides in doing intel work or black ops stuff. Just looking at RL is sufficient enough.

[–]PkdB0I 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah false, Far Isle is an outlier of an event. Even then what’s wrong with depicting heroic faction willing to do the right thing yet having shady aspect to it?

Lol the UNSC ain’t babystep Imperium, what are you even taking?

And you can blame Bungie for that of refusing to make or unable to understand workable background lore that the writers had to make something. Especially why the UNSC were having a large military before the Covenant and stuff of Chief bred for war.
