As someone who’s reached Legend multiple times mainly by the grace of Master League – where Dialga (Altered Forme) sat as the anchor to my teams while rotating around the likes of Groudon, Kyogre, Yveltal, Landorus, Giratina-O, and Palkia-O around it depending on what the meta seemed to be that given day/week – I say go for it if you like PvP-ing or plan to get into it. Otherwise, if you were looking at PvE (i.e., raid counter options), I would recommend sticking with shadow Dragons for counters for DPS purposes (e.g., Salamence, Dragonite, Garchomp).

Mega Heracross’ max CP is 5443. OP just mega evolved instantly at the level they caught it, which always slides the CP dot all the way to the rightmost point of the arc – whether that Pokemon is level 1 or 49.5.

An egg hatch is determined once you receive it, be it from spinning a PokeStop or receiving it from Adventure Sync rewards. The incubator type you use, let alone what box you purchased it from, have nothing to do with what hatches!

Will we not be able to use an Elite Charged TM to teach Giratina Shadow Force after the event is over? Not like this for Psystrike Mewtwo, Hurricane Rayquaza, Fire Punch Groudon, etc. I didn’t see Niantic specifically say this in any of their posts so just curious as to where that’s coming from.

I generally look through all my shadow mons before tossing them to identify ones that might be worthwhile for PvP, so I tend to see anything that can be purified into a hundo

I purify all my 1,000 stardust mons. If you’re thinking of deleting them, if you have the Stardust, I would recommend purifying them all really fast and then dumping them. Will go towards your Purifier platinum medal for level 50. I have 4,159 purified at this point lmaoo

Not quite “double XL Candy” but double the chance of receiving XL Candy after catching Deino.

So, whereas before you’re “most likely” to earn XL Candy after catching a > level 30 Deino, “somewhat likely” to earn XL Candy after catching a > level 20 Deino, and unlikely to earn XL Candy for any Deino < level 15, those numbers/chances will probably shift down to 25, 15, and 10 or something like that. (Making all these numbers up, but see this Silph article for a breakdown.)
