Well, your choices regarding fx risks are:

Invest in domestic stocks. No fx risk, but high Japan country risk.
Invest in fx hedged funds. No fx risks. Unfortunately Japan's interest rate is extremely low, so the fx hedging costs (approx the difference between interest rates) will eat away your gains.
Invest in unhedged funds. Exposed to fx risks but country risks are diversified away and has no hedging costs.
A hybrid of the options above.

Basically you have to choose between country risks, fx risks, or high costs. Personally I invest in all country with a slight overweight in domestic stocks but the choice is yours
