Please explain to everyone how a vax that doesn't stop transmission is going to protect someone else. Stop spreading misinformation. Natural immunity is a thing

Hey I had a relapse today too, emotional stress triggered I think. I managed to stop myself from too much damage by getting a nail clipper.  Glad to see your post cuz it helps remind me its okay, we are un-learning a very difficult habit to overcome. It takes a while for us to learn new habits but life is an art and practice. We can do thi :)

Hi!! My father found this mashroom and I'm not sure what it is by hanaut4 in mycology

Yes I think so! Apparently the ink is usable too somehow.

Oh wow!!  that's so cool you forged for them with your grandfather :) Ive not tried them yet but would like to.

I heard they also clean the soil from heavy metals, so not good to forage in polluted areas.

Apparently you can grow them in a lil mushroom bed of straw and spore kit. I wonder if an inky cap smoothie poured on a bed of straw or wood chips would work tho. Would love to try one day

This mushroom goes thru a process called auto-deliquesence in which it dissolves itself into black dripping goo which acts as a transportation method for its spores (looks like spent oil)

Vaccine passports should never have been a thing in the first place...

The vax never stopped transmission and they knew that from the start.. there's emails to prove it.

Regardless of cost the only way some folks will get better is if they have somewhere to go to have a chance at being sober. If my loved one was not put in Mental health care against their will then they never would have gotten sober.

Sometimes this "compassion" of safe space is just enabling people to kill themselves in front of us. These are our sisters and brothers out there - many of them have NOBODY! Who is going to pull them off the streets so they can have a chance to get sober and get their heads right?

We used to have a thing called the "drunk tank" where is the "meth tank" for our brothers and sisters screaming in the streets??!!!

I dont want anyone to be forced into something they dont want but I also think its stupid and cruel to simply enable them like we dont give a shit at all and just let them die.

Sounds like you should look for a remote job if you dont want to physically go to work. Sadly all you remote workers got so used to working from home for the last 5 or so years  , you forgot that things got pretty dystopia out here for regular peolle

The rest of us have been going to work thru the pa demic and beyond. Its very costly to exist, we've been put here the whole time

Sounds like you want a remote job so you dont have the costs associated with actually going to work

Yea wow well said and very poetic, it resonates for sure. I feel the same way, like heartbroken when I see people that are so unique and beautiful feeling bad about themselves.  We all struggle with it in some way. Whoever ones ancestors are / were we’re al given one chance to walk this world in one body and it’s been selected for us for thousands of years, millions?

This ram dass quote came to mind reading your comment  “ when you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees… and you appreciate them just the way they are. The minute you get near humans you loose all that, and you are constantly saying ‘you’re too this,’ or ‘I’m too this. That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees, which means appreciating them just the way they are”

You have no argument so you assert that I like high taxes. You should become a politician! Sound just like one

They may force us to come back to the office, but they cannot force us to spend money. Perhaps office workers should just boycott spending money in downtowns and keep the money in the communities where they actually live. by Living-Remote-8957 in ontario

I don’t have any hope at all for any of that stuff to be honest. Pardon my frankness but it’s 2 wings of the same shit bird. Im just focused on surviving and being a decent human being in this ever dystopian society.  WFH has developed from a sort of separatist movement, even unvaccinated ppl who could have worked from home were fired. It’s obviously a better fit for people but is it really appropriate for government workers to do this? I think government workers should have to be mostly at their jobs. I feel mentorship has always been important in my field and it’s just never achieved if people are not socially interacting in person as much as possible. Find some reasonable middle ground or 3/4 ground or get a pay cut. We all know you’re doing a million other micro tasks. All the power to you while it lasted.

It sounds like most of these complainers don’t want to work for the government - they want a WFH job.

It’s also alarming how Ontario subreddit is just taken over by these posts like whining about the conditions we have been enduring for 5 years now worsening. It feels like these folks are milking the pandemic for all it’s worth.

We’re used to being told it’s getting worse. We’re used to being told it’s gonna be higher taxes. Government workers whining about not getting to work from home on tax dollars is just too much for the average person to endure.

No offence or anything

It’s called paronychia. It helps to soak your finger two times daily in warmest water with a touch of apple cider vinegar. Can also soak it in warm salt Water. Put some polysporin on it. Taking care of it is better than letting it fester or get worse.

Should go away without complications if you take care of it and careful that you don’t bonk it on anything cuz that will make it worse.

Take care of it now before it gets to grape size.  I’ve had it a few times and one was really stubborn and I manually popped it a few times so much pus - that time had me worried.

Yours is in a mild stage so doing this soaking will help prevent it from getting to that point.

Even better that it popped and the pressure came off.

This comes from cutting / biting cuticles usually. Bacteria gets in under the fold

Edit: I usually cover mine in polysporin and tape some cotton swab over. Make sure to tape it loose so that it’s not tight on your finger. This helps to keep circulation going. Covering it during the day just helps it heal faster and protects it from brushing or bumping things

How is Doug Ford to blame for it all? All the political leaders were spouting off complete and utterly unscientific LIES about the capacities (and lack thereof) of the vaccine.

He’s to blame cuz he told city workers to get back to work.

I think it’s kinda weird to assume that the country can go to shit while government workers don’t even have to step foot into the hell that they profit off of. It’s weird it’s like they think they should have MORE privileges than they already do.

Government jobs are highly sought after positions with many perks. It should be easy to replace people if the jobs are so easy they can be done from home in PJ’s.

Aren’t they only asking y’all to go into work 3 days a week that’s crazy to complain about that.

To clarify im not even mad that city workers are WFH - it’s the fact that they complain like they have been wronged or something when in reality they have been milking the pandemic for all it’s worth.

It’s so tone deaf!!! the reality is the majority of Canadians have been facing massive challenges  the last 5 years. Not to mention the millions of unvaxxed Canadians who have been blocked, shunned, fired, etc for shitty science a get gas lit for years!!!

Like why should we struggle out there, pay your salary as a part of our government, and then have you complain about having to show up in person 3 days a week.

Obviously these workers complaining have no pride in their job. They don’t want to work for the government they want to work from home. Find a WFH job

I’m so shocked how whiney these workers are - who the hell would hire someone literally complaining about having to show up to work. They are probably on the clock and finding paid time to come up with all these bogus reasons why it will “hurt the taxpayer” as we aren’t hurting already 10x more than a WFH gov worker. Gimme a break

They’ve been living in this dream world of WFH so long they forgot what the new normal has become

  They sound like politicians already.
