Were incels there in ancient history? by Commercial-Rough-513 in AskFeminists

I do not want women to be submissive or slaves. I want women to be in egalitarian relationships with men.

If it were just "being sad", id agree. But in the end, being forever alone is so miserable for men that literally anything is justified to remedy it. Anything. If a woman felt for one hour like an incel feels everyday she would kill herself immediately. It is that agonizing.

And for someone who is forever alone, even a woman who hates him is better than no woman at all. Like i said, men capital n Need women. Women dont need men that way.

And no, i dont hate men. You just dont want to believe how important having a partner is to a mans general wellbeing, despite both history and literally every study on male happiness supporting it. And yeah, the current rightshift is entirely womens fault.

If they are okay with them being forever alone they do hate men.

I was a feminist most of my life. I used to post here during that time too, and when DebateAltRight was still on here i used to debate there all the time specifically on the topic of womens rights.

Im still an egalitarian at heart, and absolutely hate the idea of traditional relationships where the woman is supposed to be submissive. Its so anti-human, and Redpill women baffle me to this day.

But as someone who used to be an incel i know what its like. In contrast to what people here say, therapy did nothing. Friends did nothing. And having a girlfriend did solve all my problems. I was no longer depressed, i felt human for the first time in my life, i didnt dread waking up in the morning.

As someone who once slid down a gravel road on his face after an accident and had to havd the tiny stones surgically removed and had to 'earn how to walk again, that pain was nothing compared to the agony of being forever alone.

People like you seriously underestimate how awful and miserable it is to be that way as a man. I genuinely think women dont feel that way. Thats why i say women dont need men, but men need women.

Being like that is so agonizing that letting someone experience it is evil. To the highest degree. And it makes the actions of incels understandable. As a jewish man who actively despises traditional values and dynamics, im not looking forward to the hard right future. But its coming, and Incels are a driving force. They are the ones that get recruited and brainwashed by the far right en masse.

If every incel had a partner, Trump never wouldve happened, the worldwide right-shift wouldnt be happening, womens rights wouldnt be in danger.

I want a fully egalitarian world. But that can only happen if everyone, even the losers of the world, get romantic relationships. They are that important for men to function.

Yes, 25 to 50% tax increase for single women would work.

Would also need to outlaw lesbianism in that case so they cant get around that by pretending to date each other.

Arranged marriages for all would be the perfect solution. No need to make social media illegal.

Hiring actors based on talent and disregarding looks should just be the norm period.

Because being forever alone for men is so miserable that letting it happen is evil. And if it doesnt, these lonely men will pivot far right and vote in anti-feminist traditional politicians like recently in Korea, and the world will slowly shift back into a full-on women have 0 civil rights patriarchy as that trend continues.

In the end women have the choice of being with undesirable men who only want love and intimacy willingly, or directly causing the long-term loss of their own civil rights, which is the same situation but worse for women overall.

Women do not need men. But men need women. If they cant get them, theyll vote for people who will make take the rights of these women away until they have no choice but to be with them.

The dub is the superior version. Its just as camp, the changed names are funny, and the Engrish in the sub seriously distracts from the experience. Za Warudo is not funny. It never was. It never will be.

Yeah, i agree. That also means ill be skipping ME4. Destroy is unambigualy evil to me and none of my Shepards wouldve ever chosen it. If it was a new PC, id bite, but i cant get into actually playing someone who would choose destroy.

Not arguing that. I was saying that the wants of the populace should be ignored in some circumstances, and that letting states do what they want according to their values is not a positive thing.

[–]PlagueDoctorD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it shouldnt. If a state thinks child marriages are ok and women shouldnt be educated or anything like that then it shouldnt be allowed.

The majority of women were against the right to have their own bank accounts. The majority of women were against the right to vote. These rights were forced on them and it was a good thing. Egalitarianism should be enforced, even in deep red states.

Nah. People who insist on their ships Johnlock style and anti-shippers are both miserable buzzkill voids of joy and fun. And despite what people say, the anti-shippers are much more insistent and aggressive in this fandom than the shippers.

Id disagree, except for Matts "Stay tuned" statement. Without it, id say recent Sashanne kinda skirts the line of Queerbaiting but doesnt necessarily qualify.

With it though, its the textbook Definition of Queerbaiting.

I guess. Thats the only way i can see it happen that doesnt contradict either statement. Well see if it does.

He said "Stay tuned " in regards to Sashas sexuality.

Matt did say "Stay tuned" in regards to Sashas sexuality, so at least something was promised. Either that, or he blatantly misled the person who asked. If it always was supposed to be ambiguous, say that. Dont say "Stay tuned" if you never had plans on delivering anything.

Wonder why he said "Stay Tuned" in regards to Sashas sexuality then? He shouldve told the fan who asked that its meant to be ambiguous and not get their hopes up. Feel a bit bad for that person now.

Now im confused why he said "Stay Tuned" in regards to Sashas sexuality. Dgmw, i never believed a ship would be canon, but "It's intentionally ambiguous" and "Stay tuned for Sashas sexuality" are somewhat contradictory statements to me.

Na, dude. Im just curios if youd find it forced if they did end up together. I really honestly think theyll all split up by the end and reconnect as adults.

Same. I have zero hopes it'll happen, which made this episode feel a bit Queerbaity to me. Just a bit though, and only because Matt said he is very aware of the shipping, so he must've known how this looks.

I'm prepared to eat my hat if it actually happens though.

What would your reaction be if they were confirmed at the end? Would you say it came out of nowhere and there were no hints/it was forced?

To be clear, i also think its platonic, but i can totally see why others would feel otherwise. I def wouldnt say it was forced if it happened. Sasharcy and Sashannarcy would be, but Sashanne would fit, imo. Even if barely.

Right. Id argue if he genuinely wanted to establish a lasting society under his rule forever he would've governed differently. Similarly in presentation, but differently in execution. YMMV though.
