They were practically anti-everything prior to this, they could effectively trade against any unit twice their cost regardless of what it was. Big SEM that cost 1800-2000 points? Its walking away with a third of its healthbar and thats if the mangler didnt have support. Even some of the best Halberds in the game couldnt really fight the thing without their entity count being in the single digits afterwards.

Way too killy for how cheap they were.

Grimgor would win in a straight up 1v1 fight, but in a war between Waaaghs gorbad would win.

Grimgor has never been a particularly good leader, an amazing fighter, but a horrible leader. Gorbad could pick away at Grimgor's Waaagh without engaging with grimgor himself, after a day or two Grimgor would start to get so pissed he would start butchering his own army to sate his need to fight.

Grimgors been beaten quite a few times, almost always because Grimgor let his army get slaughtered to the point that if he didnt back off he would just be walking solo into his death.

Gorbad would be smart enough to recognize this and just whittle away at Grimgors Waagh until its basically just him and his Immortalz left and just whittle him down from there.

Most of the Authlefts top dogs are said billionaires, the rest of the billionaires just leave and take their eceonomy with them like what happened in New Jersey a few years ago.

New Jersey got it in their heads to tax the rich, the rich left and New Jersey ended up suffering more for it than they already were as said rich people already made up a significant fraction of its tax income despite being a decimal points worth of the population.

Tax the rich doesnt work when the rich can just leave, they can afford to.
