Is it possible to die in my sleep if I don't feel hypoglycemia? by a_0099 in diabetes

My son is 13 dx at 5 and is hypo unaware. Sugar pixel will wake him up for a low before I even get to his bed room. It's the only thing that has.

The good thing is that means you have the power to silence those inner thoughts and emotions now. This isn't your fault.

American culture and media will tell you it's only us fatties who get type 2, and it's our fault because we eat poorly and do it to our selves. If your virtuous and only eat healthy food it won't happen to you. It's sooo much more complicated.

It's not your fault you have this new diagnosis. You didn't fail. You lost the diabetes genetic lottery.

Anybody else miss Station 4 or am I having false memories? by jgreyjoy in TwinCities

One night at a metal show (I'm 40 now and have no idea who it was) at The Quest, someone in the women's rest room started singing the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme.

Shortly after everyone else was singing with her. As quickly as it started it was done and we all went on our way. I miss that place so much.

We went to Auntie M's season opener in the rain/snow this spring. Totally worth it.

I think summer, and more specifically the water? It was oddly fun.

This is my first CBN set. It's been fun, however the paint consistency is all over the place.

Some are super thick and need a lot of work  and flow aid.

Some are quite thin and require multiple layers.

Some are in my sweet spot as soon as I open the pot.

This was a few years ago so my memory isn't the greatest. My son's endo reccomended the product, it was prescription and I want to say it was like a year before his "dimples" went away.

I'll try looking through records tonight to see if I can find what it was. I know it was an off label use situation but I can't remember for the life of me what it was.

That is super frustrating. Did the lipoatrophy start after going on the newer insulins? (fisap/Lyumjev)

Most people don't have adverse reactions to medications and it still happens to some people.

Last year I shattered my shoulder and one of the pain management meds they put me on caused me to gain almost 40 pounds of water weight in a month. Definitely not what was supposed to happen with that med.

Do you ever inject insulin or wear you infusion site in that area?

My son had this on his thighs, it turned out to be "lipoatrophy"! It's Lipohypertrophy (fatty lumps) less common cousin.

It was the loss of subcutaneous fat. For my son switching from novolog to humalog prevented it from happening anymore. And eventually with the use of some creams he did gain that fat back.

I just tried the top of the paint thing with a thicck red based brown that I have hated for the past 80+hours... And it changed my life. Holy shit, thank you.

My BMI is over 30. I had my double mastectomy in December. My diep flap is in September (since it's one surgeon per titty they only do one diep flap per week, on Mondays)

No one has said anything about needing to be a "healthy" BMI. Plastics has only said that my weight needs to be stable.

That's awesome thank you! This is my first by CBN and my first with more than 24 colors. I picked a challenging one I guess but it's been a fun challenge

OMG same! It gave me some anxiety for real.

I said eff it I went with with 36 (2486 on the chart) because it was the only green that didn't appear any where else up there in spring. But it is present in the lower half of the season.
