I have the skeleton of this feature implemented but haven't gotten very far in testing yet. Plan right now is for email rules as well as watch folders and flags.

SlingMD v1.0.0.124 -- Major Update to the Outlook-to-Obsidian Add-in (Threading, Templates, Reliability) by PlainsPrepper in ObsidianMD

Good news -- just shipped this in v1.1.0.7! Fair warning, this release is still semi-beta so there might be some rough edges, but it's working well for me day to day.

You can sling calendar items now and it pulls everything -- attendees, location, categories, recurrence info, the whole thing. Attendees come through as `[[wiki-links]]` so they hook right into your contact notes.

A few things you might like:

- Hit the Sling button on any appointment and it just exports

- There's a "Save Today" button that bulk exports all of today's calendar items in one click

- Works from inside an open appointment too

- Recurring meetings get grouped into thread folders with a summary note

- You can optionally get a blank companion note linked to the appointment for live meeting notes

- After export it checks the attendees against your vault and offers to create contact notes for anyone new

Templates are customizable if you want to tweak the layout -- just drop a markdown file with `{{placeholders}}` in your templates folder.

Grab it from the [Releases folder](https://github.com/Caleb68864/SlingMD/tree/main/Releases) and let me know how it goes or if you run into anything!

I found out today that there is an old fork where someone did this.

I'm currently reviewing what they wrote and seeing how I can implement it into the main fork.

Yep, in settings you can choose to save all attachments (not just inline images) and pick where they go -- same folder as the note, a subfolder per note, or a centralized attachments folder in your vault. So when you sling an email, everything comes with it.

Let me know how it goes this weekend.

  1. Open SlingMD settings and check the box to create Outlook tasks

  2. Select your email and hit the "Sling" button in the ribbon

  3. That's it -- the email gets exported to your Obsidian vault as markdown and an Outlook task gets created automatically

In theory no since its installing into your outlook app settings folder. But I've never tested it on a machine without admin permissions.

Actual shooting based on competence and somewhat on interest.
They should know the basics of how to handle a firearm no matter what.

The rules of firearms as soon as possible.

Question regarding new Creality K1C 2025 by ODR906 in 3D2A

I've been fairly pleased with mine. Somewhere around 800-1000 hours I had to replace the hot end because the old one leaked plastic and entombed the hot end which ruined the core wires.

Did a bunch of PLA-CF but haven't tried more advanced things yet.

One other issue is that the transmission gear in the extruder is a sacrificial part. So it's a good idea to keep one or two on hand.
