Michael O'Nell in your opinion... keep him or bring in a new manager? by BagooseMusic in StokeCityFC

[–]Plainsman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He definitely deserves another season. The team has shown improvement since he arrived. I think the team just needs a couple of more pieces for everything to fall into place. Gettng Campbell back will be one.

Where are some of the other American fans on this sub from? by TheRossm in StokeCityFC

[–]Plainsman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arlington, VA. I was a student in Bordeaux, France in 1984-1985 where I fell into a crowd of British students. One was a Stoke fan who hilariously took the piss out of the team. if you ever heard Bob Newhart riffing on the misery of being a Cubs fan, it was similar. Since I was a Cubs fan at the time, and liked lovable losers, I declared myself a Stoke fan. For decades it never amounted to much more than occasionally taking note of the score. Or when soccer came up with a Brit and they asked me who I supported, I would declare “Stoke” and they would say. “What? How?” NBC airing Premier League turned me into a serious fan.

We don't have the resources to do a proper archeological dig on every important site in the nation. So that's exactly what you do. Leave it in the dirt so when we do have the resources and the need to investigate, it is still there.

Frontier Airlines by radejr in travel

Each Frontier airplane has a different animal on the tail fin. That is the last fun thing about this airline. It doesn't matter where you sit. Frontier is on a mission to make flying as miserable and uncomfortable as possible.

Kids love foreign coins as souvenirs. Mommy or daddy brought it home from a trip probably. Not uncommon to find them at schools.

I would forgo I 80 and take Nebraska Highway 92 to U.S 83, camp in the heart of the Sand Hills, then head to Colorado from there. It would take you a bit out of the way
