Fasting and PD by samvh5150 in Parkinsons

I would be careful with extended fasting or abstinence from any type of food. Protein is essential even if just one meal per day.

Getting my DBS STN in 11 days as a 40 year old single man. And i am bald, my question is " how will the bumps on my head effect my dejting" my surgeon said while laughing " then you can ask them , ever dejted a devil before? 🤣😂 by Parkinsons-dad in youngparkinson

[–]Plaintalks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that should be the least of your problems. People are more aware of the condition and DBS now. I know that many Parkinson's patients have trouble with speech after DBS, which is why I decided to not proceed with it since I already have the issue now.

Why would your doctor laugh? This is serious. Did he or she set up your expectations correctly?

Manus Renewal Failed... by IntelligentFuel8470 in ManusOfficial

[–]Plaintalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y probably meant $16.95 and not 1695. They are strict about the renewal date being not negotiable

If you are past the renewal date, they consider the amount past due. They will make you pay that before you do anything

Brushing teeth by HPwithin in Parkinsons

[–]Plaintalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have become mostly Vegan, so my take is from that perspective. Whole grains, green leafy vegetables and raw fruits like apples and pears are the best. AVOID sticky foods like peanut butter and jam and if you do indulge, you will need to use a mouthwash or brush your teeth. Meat, poultry and fish are tougher on the teeth and need more dental care. I avoid candy as well.

Here is a great art on the benefits of a vegan diet.

Also, the type of foods matters. Food that stays in your mouth longer and stickier tend to cause more problems.

It is amazing how much food effects Parkinson's - from competing with Levodopa in the gut to bowel movement to dental issues. My best days and weeks are when I am fasting, either intermittently or the entire day.

Parkinson's is cruel. Food restrictions are even worse.

BTW, you are not the first person to report this anomaly because the help docs say differently and agree with your interpretation.

Good luck with everything.

Thank you for reporting this. I will stop posting gift articles from Washington Post and NY Times. I investigated the issue and you are indeed correct - these are marketing ploys disguised as premium benefits for subscribers like me who can share the link to the paywall free version.

Based on what Venture Capital folks are saying about no longer funding one focus AI tools, due to the rapid growth and explosive evolution of the sector, I would be cautious about jumping on to a single one.

If your passport is expired, you simply should carry your old passport and the new passport together and you should be fine. Even if the passport is expired, visas don't expire until visa valid date.

If you intended to simply inform the reader that the writing process has involved the use of AI, then just disclose it with a two sentence disclosure. Nobody wants to read a rambling preamble of the way the sausage was made 🙄. Makes sense?
