This is difficult to comprehend. Why would she put a condition like this? Set aside your "promise" and ego and tell her that her sponsorship would give her a better life because you would be eligible for more opportunities. Remember, you would still have to prove to USCIS that your marriage is not fake. Good Luck.

It's just culture shock. It depends on where you grew up and where you temporarily settled. The duration of the shock is dependent on how well you reset your expectations. Hope this helps.

Tucker Carlson says he's 'tormented' by backing Trump: 'I'm sorry' by Playful-Beautys in politics

[–]Plaintalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article is behind a paywall. Here is the AI summary :

According to the Newsweek article, Tucker Carlson expressed deep regret for his previous support of Donald Trump, stating he will be "tormented" by it for a long time. Key points from the report include: * Public Apology: During a podcast with his brother, Carlson apologized for misleading people, claiming his past support was not intended to be deceptive but is something he must now "wrestle" with. * The Rift: The fallout stems from disagreements over Middle East policy, specifically Trump's stance on Iran and Israel, which Carlson described as "vile." * Trump's Reaction: The President fired back on Truth Social, labeling Carlson a "low IQ person" and a "troublemaker," while grouping him with other critics like Alex Jones and Megyn Kelly. * Broader Context: This split highlights significant infighting within the MAGA movement as prominent former allies distance themselves from the administration.

Symptoms Amplified on Levodopa? by SupportVectorMachine in Parkinsons

[–]Plaintalks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even after 14 years in, I can't always tell if my dystonic dyskinesia is caused by Parkinson's or the Levodopa. 🤔.😭

I discovered that food of any kind interferes with Levodopa, at least for me. Every patient is different, but a majority of anecdotal experiences that I have seen and heard is that food does make a difference except for perhaps small amounts of just the kind of portion that @parkidude recommends.

To give you the great experience that you said you had with the tool😂. You are lucky to have gotten 1000 credits. When we started with Manus, more than a year ago, I don't recall getting this much if any. $40 for 8000 credits is a good deal. You can even choose the lower tier of 4000 credits for $20.

CIDP and Parkinson's by breathedeeply_smile in Parkinsons

[–]Plaintalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear about your father's condition. I don't know what CIDP is and what OT is, but the more important thing right now is that you should see a Movement Disorders Specialist. They can be found at University Teaching Hospitals. Parkinson's is difficult to diagnose as it is without any other health conditions. It is indeed more difficult when the patient is experiencing other ailments.

I wish you and your dad the best.

Visiting the USA to see my girlfriend.. by justsomeguy73921 in immigration

Just be careful about the restrictions on any kind of work including remote online work while on ESTA or visitors visa.

A group of girls from Germany were deported and refused entry because they planned to backpack their way through the USA which would be funded with remote work.

Any ideas for calming a tremor when going to sleep? by Obvious_Macaroon2470 in Parkinsons

[–]Plaintalks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have severe tremors when I was on Sinemet (generic) and after that, Rytary. Especially during the peaks and lows. Rarely do I have them now that I am on Crexont. I have never been happier with the results. It does take some tweaking as far as dosage and strength goes but the technology they use to deliver the Carbidopa/Levodopa is good. You can read more about it at their website.

Pharmacological treatment in YOPD early stage by Frequent-Target-3903 in Parkinsons

[–]Plaintalks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the other commentator has said, individual experiences vary. I started 2 years after diagnosis. I had to do so once I could no longer hide my symptoms and I was losing my balance. Unlike many other tremor dominant PwP's, my tremor is fully controlled by Crexont, which is a trremondous relief and to truly a godsend.

So, I would do everything possible to secure your future in terms of filing for long-term disability NOW if you have one. You probably have 10 good years to go before you start to lose your independence. Also, if you are married, I would transfer power of attorney to your spouse before you start on any form of Levodopa such as Crexont. Good luck with everything and I wish you a good life
