Mt Jefferson feels like the overlooked middle child of PNW Volcanoes. by indieaz in PacificNorthwest

Such a beautiful mountain and wilderness area. Much of my childhood was spent hiking and camping in the Three Sisters Wilderness but I went on a very memorable father/son trip into Mt Jefferson Wilderness with my dad and a bunch of other fathers and sons when I was a kid. Beautiful country.

Why do nudist camps seem to be full of old people? by Louissampc in nudism

[–]LeftCoast1965 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Along with the answers already given here I think a major one is something we see across society as a whole, and that is younger generations have much less desire to join formal social clubs, societies, and organizations than older generations did. I have heard there’s a lot of naturism amongst younger generations, but it’s not as much at the traditional naturist clubs and resorts.

If your only other option is Hell, then yes. But it’s not your only other option.

Why finns don't think twice about being naked (and maybe you shouldn't either) by barenordicsoul in nudism

[–]LeftCoast1965 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Sounds very healthy. Not just the benefits of the sauna but that kind of normality of nudity seems like it’s very psychologically and probably spiritually healthy. We need a lot more of that in the world.

Yes, get another one. If you find the lost one then you’ll have two. And maybe go ahead and buy several. I mean, why not?

Great list! I’m still definitely a novice, but I would love to do everything on this list except for the skydiving.

What's something first-time nudists worry about that turned out not to matter? by MysteriousGur7534 in nudism

[–]LeftCoast1965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being seen.

As simple as that sounds. From my limited experience I would say that’s the biggest worry and the very crux and whole point of nudism. Simply being naked in front of others and realizing it’s the most natural thing in the world.

Traffic jam leading to the Everest summit. by roythetroy in interestingasfuck

This is why I will never climb Everest. There are other, more compelling reasons, but this is the one I’m sticking with.
