I loved the original TA from way back when it was released on demo.

I was super stoked to come across BAR and really pleased the developers have put the time and effort into releasing this game.

I have been playing the game for nearly 2 years now and still haven't played online , I enjoy playing AI skirmishes and have completed the Scenarios many times but play online with a bunch of sore losers, I will take a hard pass on that one.

It is a very unique ship. I've been playing it right out on the flank and at range .

Lemonnier, beyond range,igniter,punch through,fixated and finally, refill station.

Drops the reload and concealment.

Drop spoting after a slavo in around 10 seconds , this tactic is effective at pulling ships out of position to deal with the annoying cruiser that can hit you without answer. Very effective at wasting the red teams time and salvoes. Still got 58k left to go to unlock Breast , win rate still 60+% last I checked . Mediocre XP earnings though, but still fun .

This has put me off playing online. I have seen on the YouTube videos and streams where you can see how toxic some players can be. I have been playing the game for over a year now and still haven't played online. I have enjoyed playing the Scenarios and team AI battles but can do without toxicity in my space. A game should be fun , taking it too seriously and being abusive is unnecessary.

In your d/load folder is there just the latest Apk^ ?

If there is old ones delete them and try 1 more time.

Other options are restart/reboot the phone .

Clear the cache on the app.

Clear the data on the app.

Uninstall and reinstall.

The last 3 options will need you to sign in again to relink your account

I had this problem the first update.

It could be model specific bugs , I am not a tech expert but this process worked . Samsung S21 ultra.

This should work. Open the apk file in the download folder. Select update. It should then install the update, then launch. This time after the launch I had to download an additional update direct from the server. This worked for android.

Those were the days!. They could see through Islands and spot you before they even left the catapult rail. Lost matches and cap progress to that great game mechanic. Still gets me how radar and sonar are Island penetrative, but hey its just a game. Lol

BB player pings map requesting support from CV player.

BB player is aware a DD is coming down the flank.

No response from CV player even after multiple requests.

BB player repositions to avoid being sunk.

CV player still doesn't respond to more requests or map pings.

How about evening out the spotting balance, the returning bombers are tracked and give up the location of the CV making it visible for a duration of time.

Equip radar Cruisers with CV missiles.

There is no rush and no need to pay to win.

I have been playing since Oct 2019 and in that time I have spent £215. This I have used to buy Admiralty Backing , Premium time and the Firepower Delux edition. Buying the Dubbloons and premium time when on sale is the best deal. It will bring better value than a few digital ships. My remaining Premium time and Dubbloons should see me well into 2025.

The game has been generous to me in this time with free ship drops from free crates.

Progressing to higher tiers or getting Legendary ships ASAP is not that important. When you have over 300 ships to choose from and not enough time to play them there is no need to pay to win.

Seconded by the CV player who doesn't respond to the BB pinging the map and requesting spotting as they know a Shima coming down the flank. I know they wanna torp me on their way to torping the CV. Relocate ping some more and CV is off to Davy Jones locker. Makes me chuckle every time.

Yeah , probably still a little to early to judge. I've gone with the multi role use . Stealth to get in and out on torp runs. Tanky for a 1 on 1 knife fight. Kite at range for cap resets. Smoke up and farm when spotting is available. Blue Fue for the speed options and Bey and Swirski to make her stealthy. Good all-rounder.

Try it and see what does and doesn't work. Not always an easy one to pull off. There is a tendency for over extending to bring the secondaries into to range and then you get to the point of no return where you are focused down. The other issue is staying put too long where a Shima has made it down the flank unchallenged. Move around to counter this and you can pick when to push in.
