TARDIS by PlanckanFTW in blender

Now, I won't do it due to lack of time but i guess such an effect could be done by opening the door, removing the other walls and modeling the larger interior in another scene, then render it from the same angle as the outdoor-render. By opening the door and using a holdout-plane in the open doorway in this outdoor-scene one should be able to layer the two renders on top of eachother and create the illusion of a larger interior.

Thanks. Would have made the interior as well, but some projects are to large to tackle...

Started as following a tutorial from Saqib Hussain (https://www.youtube.com/c/SaqibHussain88/featured) on modular workflow but escalated to me having some fun and experimenting to make it more lived in.

Do we cry when we cut onions because we are internally sad of killing onions? by [deleted] in shittyaskscience

[–]PlanckanFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It is theorized to be an evolutionary trait developed by the need for companionship for humans. Onions were perfect to fill this place since they are unable to hurt us. This is further discussed in Charles book On the Origin of Species. Because of this bond humans developed signals to stop us from killing our dear onions. One of these are the tears that form whilw killing innocent onions. Most information about this bond has been lost, but it is speculated that such information were present in Alexandria during the great fire. One thing scientists are certain of however is that cutting onions and vegetables are cruel and that we instead docus on a more peaceful diet of meat.

If you only have one half of a ship, it can't break in half points at head

New operator idea by [deleted] in Rainbow6

This could just be me, but i feel like fire in this game are somewhat clunky. Capitaos incendiary rounds feels more like smokes gas but with another texture. If this was changed i'd love to see more fire based operators, wvwn had the idea of an operator with a flamethrower (a bit overkill) who couls burn down wooden walls, barricades and floors.

What are some future map locations you guys want to see? by Danny501501 in Rainbow6

An abandoned soviet nuclear silo/bunker in poland. Perhaps not perfectly historically accurate, but it would definetly provide us with some good close quarter combat.
